The first stripper I ever saw...
Yea go ahead and tease me I am about the oldest person hanging out here I think. And so here is where I tell you a funny story from my youth that you may find interesting...
I was about 15 years old and my band was performing at the state fair in a midwestern state. We get a little time off and head over to the Midway to see what is going on.
First we see the rides, the cotton candy and the ferris wheel etc. Then the Freak show indluding the fattest man in the world.
And then...
The Girlie Shows! Yep, in the midwest in the mid 60's they had Girlie shows at the state fair. They have the ladies lined up outside in kind of harem dancer outfits etc. and so we get pretty interested.
But then we realize there are TWO Girlie shows. This sounds unbelievable today but this was the mid 60's right? On one side of the midway there was an all "white" girlie show and on the other side there was the "black" girlie show. So we thought the only way to be fair was to go to both. ;)
The "black" show the girls were really not strippers but more like sexy dancers in skin tight mini's and halter tops etc, The big thing was that they had an entire show band playing for them and they were pretty darn good too. Then they announce "Lady Ellen Queen of the Drums" and this little old black lady about 70 years old comes out and sits with the badn and plays drums.
It was fun but not what I had hoped for since the girls never took their clothes off.
So then we go in the "white" girlie show. Keep in mind I was 15, my buddies were 16 or 17 and we walked right in the front door! Can you imagine that happening at a midwest state fair now? I can't! Where were the Bible thumpers and the council for decency? ;)
So we go in and the difference was huge. No cool show band, just an old lady playing a cheesey sounding Lowrey Organ. But then...
A blonde lady comes out in a off white terry cloth robe. Blonde hair and lots of 60's type makeup. To me at the time she looked "old" but I suspect she was maybe 30 which is old when you are 15. LOL
The music starts, she takes off the robe and damn was she stacked. Bigguns I am telling you and she is wearing gold pasties with tassels. TASSELS!!!!
She starts moving to the music, round and round, I was hypnotized, mesmerized and positively stupefied!!!!!
First to the left, then she goes to the right and I thought I had seen everything. And then wonder of wonders she got em going in two different directions at the same time. I am sitting there thinking "Now that is TALENT!" Who needs American Bandstand when there are people with that kind of talent around? LOL
We talked about that for the rest of the summer as you can imagine. Ahhh, youth.
So what can you tell me about the first stripper you ever saw? ;D
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
mine was when i was 18 and a bunch of mates of mine (as usual my friends were all boys)were going to stripclubs. Well damned if I was going to be left out. So we walked in and i was awestruck, half dressed women everywhere! and on stage....
She was definitely not that attractive. she had small breasts (wow they look like mine! lol!) a big butt and about a 6 for a face. And there she was dancing around stage naked with this half smile this look on her face that said she knew she was hot. and the boys were going crazy for her.
It was that smile on her face that made me fall in love with stripping. that confidence. Yep she was a role model, at that stage in my life i was ashamed of my body because of my breasts. Since i was really young i've been given grief about my lack of breasts by my family. (really not even that small a b-cup). anyway that first stripper i saw let me know that there was no shame in being small breasted and got me thinking hey maybe my body is beautiful too.
God bless strippers. They're better for our self esteem than models thats for sure!
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
Thanks for the good story, xmarx. I was 27. It was our 9th wedding annicersary and and I had never been in a strip club. So we went to the club ofr our anniversary and I fell in love. A few months later, when I graduated form school, I got a waitressing job there "Until I got a teaching job". Within a year I was dancing and still am. And I also had a similar experience, badkitty, just being in awe with the poise, self-confidence, and inner beauty of the women.
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
Cool story Anais, I think most people picture that strippers start dancing in their late teens. It is a very neat thought that you go interested because you thought it was exotic and not just for the money. ;)
Kitty, believe me there are LOTS of guys who like girls with small boobs. They are very often the ones with the oh so TITE bodies. And there is sure nothing wrong with that! ;D
So want to hear about the LAST time I saw a stripper?
About 15 years ago I suppose, business convention in New Orleans and staying right on Bourbon Street.
My wife, (now ex thank God, long story), and I and another couple were checking out the scene and first we went into a regular girls strip joint. Now that was fun and we giggled a lot nervously and had lots of fun. So then we walk down the street and we went into a "Boy/girl" strip joint.
We were met at the door by a tall, very handsome college age guy, dressed in black engineer boots, a lblack leather jock, a bull whip around his neck and a black cape with a red velvet lining. But was was really suprising is when he opened his mouth to greet us he sounded like a young man who would you be happy to have over to date your daughter. ;) "Welcome folks, my name is Mark and I will be your host tonight, can I show you to your table?" A more pleasant polite guy you have never met. He seats us and then he says, "If there is anthing or anyone that you would like to have brought over to your table, please be sure to ask".
Well we were so innocent we did not even get what was going on. So we just sat there dumbstruck and watched while a middle age woman who kept yelling at the male stripper, "Does you Mother know what you do for a living?" was bought a lap dance by her frends from the same guy. She went nuts after all her preaching about morals to this guy she was practically salivating while he rubbed himself all over her, etc etc...
We leave and we thought we had seen it all right, what could be left?
We walk down the street and come to the Transexual Strip joint. We muster our courage and go in. Now I have to say that these "ladies" for the most part looked fabulous. They had obviously worked really hard on their outfits and bodies. I was getting a bit "confused" shall we say since I knew these were guys but my pants we starting to make a tent as I watched them and I am thinking, "CUT THAT OUT!" to myself. LOL
About then a incredible looking "lady" comes out and she has the most incredible pair of fake boobs I mean just perfect, the surgeon was a freaking artist, know what I mean?
And right then my wife leans over and whispers in my ear, "If that's silicone, then I want some damn it!" ;)
So anyway that was the last stripper I ever saw. Any more stories anyone?
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
One more funny thing about the trip to Nawlins...
All the joints on Bourbon street have hawkers outside trying to lure the people in the strip joints. The guy outside one joint had a line he used that was either brilliant or really stupid, depending on how you look at it.
He would yell out, "Come on in folks we've got girls and we've got boys and they're NAKED! And they're taking off their clothes!"
Kind of hard to take off your clothes if you are naked isn't it? ;)
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
HA! That boy/girl stripclub.....it was called Silver Frolics, wasn't it? I danced there when I was 17! They didn't even card me. The first time I ever saw a stripper was in that club. It was a male stripper though.....his name was Chris. We ended up kinda making out.....he took me out to dinner-we had jalapeno poppers and the kiss was very acidic.
He was gone when I came back a couple months later to dance. All the girls were really mean. That's all I remember.
xmarx52-strange what we would have in common, right? :)

Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
Hi Juliette,
I have no idea anymore what the name of the club was. I do know that we were on the opposite side of the street from Maison Bourbon, and we passed a club that had a girl reflected in a mirror while swinging on a swing and then walked farther down the street to go to this place. Hey i am old and suffer from CRS. (can't remember sh*t!) ;)
By the way, thank you for taking the time to tell me how to pronounce your name. And by the way I checked out your pics in the gallery when it went back up and WHOA, you are a total hottie. Thanks for posting them.
I bet all those mean old girls were just jealous cause you were the sweet and very HOT young thing. A little too much competition maybe? ;)
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
I actually never saw a stripper until I was 30. My "Ex Thank GOD" (I think that's a great official title) and a couple we often hung out with and another friend (we'll call him Mark) were driving around Providence in a car thinking about what to do. What bar to go to, what place to eat, etc.
Now the male friend (we'll call him Jack), who was part of the couple, and the other male friend had been SCJs for years. The wife in the couple (we'll call her Jill) was the type that often sent her husband out to play in the clubs, figuring it was the lesser of evils for him to get into and she would sometimes get involved and go.
So Jack says "Let's go to the Foxy Lady". Well, images started coming into my head of this new experience. My ex is quiet about it (not amused apparently, since she was often steeped in jealousy anyway). Jill's fine with it. Jack and Mark are eyeing me to see the reaction. I go "sounds like fun" trying not to show the excruciating interest in it. But my Ex is making noises to the contrary. So it's dropped for a minute or two. Then, I pipe in and say that I want to go. Jack and Mark, of course know I was dying to do it and are enjoying the whole thing.
So, anyway we go, and I'd never seen anything like it. An infection was born, I just didn't know I had the bug. We go in and are met by rivetingly beautiful women. WHOA! And Jill gets me a shot from the shot girl, dressed in a leopard outfit revealing an explosive body, and she caresses my throat as it goes down. (jill's loving it). I got no dances that night, my ex never could've dealt with it, anyway. We stay till close with 30 or so amazing women lined up.
Now, you'd think I started then and there to go to clubs. No. I was in a marriage in need of repair at the time and never thought of it much again, until she left. That was 6 whole years. Then, as I have said elsewhere in other posts, I didn't care any more. I went twice in the two years after that before divorcing and liked it.
The divorce happened and a stripper-lover was born.
Do you know that I got through my kids the other day, that my ex said that that night was the beginning-of-the-end?!?! RIGHT and pigs can fly....lol
P.S. I got my friend "back" years later http://www.stripclubjunkie.com/cgi-b...0241;start=5#5. (Look at the part about when I was 30.)
-Sad-

Funny story X, and it reminded me of the first strip show I went to. This also occurred at a fair with tents for the dancers. I was 17. But this show got pretty raunchy. The dancers undressed and then allowed the customers to perform cunnilingus on them while they squatted on the edge of the stage.
Of course, this occurred in the late-70’s, so it was pre-AID’s, but going down on a woman after a dozen guys had been there a few minutes ago was ah, just a bit unsanitary. I declined of course and just watched, but it was funny watching all the old farmers line up at the stage and wait their turn to slip the dancer a dollar and give her kitty a lick.
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
i didnt get bit by the stripclub bug until the early 90s when i was about 30. acouple of the guys used to go after work. so one day i go and i see this beautiful brunette. Man she knocked my socks off. i fell for her like a ton of bricks (talent wise). we got to be good friends and i followed her dancing career until she retired her gstring. ive had a few favorites since then (i have an ATF now) but you never forget your 1st
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
I remember it was this dusty little bar with a jukebox and a cat pit (just a round tiprail with a pole in the middle). I was bored and I didn't want to be there. This woman started dancing but I wasn't watching. Then I looked up, just as she slid down the pole naked under a red spotlight (yes, the place had a stationary spotlight that the dancers could change the colors every few hours). It took my breath away. She was a dusky sex goddess emerging from... I don't know.
The man I was with told me that I was going to be a stripper. I didn't think it was possible, that I could be something as incredible as that. Then the next few girls came on and I was like, oh, well, I could do what they're doing.
So my whole career has been in the pursuit of becoming that dusky sex goddess under a red spotlight... :-)

Hey Lena, I got news for you. I have seen your pic and you ARE a Dusky sex Goddess. ;) But the red spotlight is something you will have to arrange for yourself. LOL
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
LOL!! The first stripper I ever saw was when I stopped at a strip club to use the resroom, you know, lost driving around a semi industrial area of a major city, there was NOWHERE else!! They agreed to let me use the can if I would fill out a waitress application, door guys can be such idiots! I filled it out, they called me, and it just so happened that I had gotten fired that day. I was barely 18, I started as the world's worst waitress, that lasted 3 days. They told me that I should just get my entertainers license and get naked or I was out of a job. Still with the same chain 9 years later!
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
Great story Nikki,
I would think that is really unusual to be with the same basic company for that long. Isn't it?
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
The first stripper I saw was in a photograph. My Dad had taken photos at a bachelor party. I used to sneak into my parents room when they were at work and check out my Dad's Playboys and other mags.
He left some photos in one of the mags. This was in 1980, I was around 11. I remember a pale, topless woman with really obvious green eye shadow on. I was already taking dance lessons. I used to check out that photo a lot, thinking I would really like to do that someday and I won't wear ugly eye-shadow like that :)
Fast forward, eleven years later. My first attempt at an audition was in a club way in the southern part of LA, San Pedro. It was near the naval shipyard. The cashier was so mean and ugly that she scared me away. (Yeah, I guess cashiers don't have to be young, but at least pleasant and nice to look at.) I asked about auditions and she asked if I had costumes. Uh,no. Music? Again, no. Well, come back when you do and don't waste my time!!! Damn, she was scary :o
A few months later, I moved back to Northern Calif., Silicon Valley. I went to my first audition and saw my first stripper. I had to wait for three to go before they put me on. The first one was older, kind of sagging, overly tanned, blonde and slightly over-weight. She was probably 35. She told me later that she was 28 and I got really scared because I thought that if I kept hanging out in the sun, that I would look that way in six years too!! She was my inspiration to start using sunscreen ;D
The next girl was cute, petite and with very long hair and graceful.
Then of course, they had to put the beautiful, Latin bombshell up there, Tia! I knew her for the next five years. She was sort of the bane of my exsistance, for a while. She was perfect! Hair, body, skin, feet , hands, teeth. All natural, all beautiful, mostly bitchy. Even after three kids, she still had this siren like attraction. She never did get back to her original weight, but that face and skin could melt any man, gay or straight :P
They had to put me up after her :-/
I did pretty good, but I was really shy so I declined the job offer. I reconsidered and came back two months later.
The rest is history.
Cheers,
Corey
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
Corey, do you wear the ugly green eye shadow?
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
Ha! Ha! Nekkid, you are funny ;D I pretty much do natural beige/browns w/ a liner.
However, it is when I am NOT working that I do experiment and if I am wearing a blonde wig I have an urban decay minty-light/sparkly shadow that is fun.
Not the jade/aqua she was wearing :P
Yuk!!
Cheers,
Corey
Re: The first stripper I ever saw...
The first stripper I ever saw was on my 21st birthday at Ricks in New Orleans. Going to a strip club was the ONLY thing I wanted to do to celebrate, so I booked a hotel room on Bourbon Street, drove down and had a blast. (Of course I had to start visibly spending money before the dancers would approach me and the guy I came in with.)
I had been reading "Strip City" by Lily Burana and "Bare" by Elizabeth Eaves, but I still was kinda iffy as to who would work as a stripper. I wasn't sure what I would find. There were two women that instantly caught my eye: medium to long blonde hair, C and D cup PERFECT breasts, and toned bodies that didn't quit!
I was hooked from that day forward. 3 months later I auditioned and got a job stripping.

Well that would definitely catch my eye! ;)
