The TRUE PURPOSE of this site...
I realize this topic might be better suited for "site issues" but I feel like it will reach more people on the General Board.
From what I understand, THE TRUE PURPOSE OF THIS SITE is for strippers to interact with one another. It gives us a sense of comraderie as well as allows us to network to maximize our earnings.
Of course it's nice to get a fresh perspective whether from someone in the industry (dj's, owners), afficionados, or even someone completely clueless, but the fact remains that this site was created for strippers. I think most guys understand and respect that (thank you!) but for those of you that don't realize it, well...there ya go.
Also, boys, at risk of sounding harsh, please don't post club reviews. A customer's review is typically different than a stripper's perspective and therefore is useless to us. We can always check tuscl, or stripclublist or hell even the blue site for that matter.
thanx and bye 4 now.

Re: The TRUE PURPOSE of this site...
I concur with Saph on the subject of reviews. The reviews section on SW was meant to review clubs from a dancer's perspective and what a customer may consider a good club may not translate into "good" for a dancer. A guy might be thrilled by lot of dance specials and high contact, but those same aspects might turn a dancer off. In any case, its not helpful to post something one place when it belongs somewhere else.
In case any of you fellas haven't found it, there IS a customer oriented site and the place to post customer reviews is here:
http://www.stripclubjunkie.com/reviews.html
I apoligize to the ladies on what some percieve as too much male input on the pink site. I should make it known that Strip Club Junkie does not have near the web presence (number of search hits, links from other sites) that this site has and that many of us guys have openly confessed to only being able to find the blue site through THIS site. In fact, most of us guys only found Stripperweb through links left on TUSCL or ASPD.
A search using both sites names on google would confirm this:
Google search for Stripperweb.
Google search for "Strip Club Junkie"
Notice while a direct result for Stripperweb came up first in the search and that SW was mentioned several times on the first page, there was no result for SCJ (even though I used quotes), and the only mention of the site was through a page on Paris's website.
Perhaps as Pryce has time to promote the blue site more (direct links through this site would be helpful) that will change.

I hesitate to say there's been too much male input, in fact I think it's welcomed (for the most part), I just felt the need to reiterate the purpose of Stripperweb.com
Re: The TRUE PURPOSE of this site...
The way I understood it was that it was a site for strippers to communicate with the rest of the world ,including other strippers. I thought it was an opportunity to exchange ideas about stripping and related topics that was open to all to answer their questions. If you wanted it to be a strippers club/ ladies club why was it open on the net on the first place. Why don't you just communicate by personal email?
Re: The TRUE PURPOSE of this site...
Because, Dreamer, we are bigger than an email list. If we were only an email list, we couldn't have the resources that we have - an index of clubs reviewed and rated by other strippers, articles and tips on improving earnings written by other strippers, our own free web based email accounts @stripperweb.com to use for work related things. And, most of all, this site and its members help tons of new girls that would never find the support they needed if we were only some obscure yahoo email list.
Besides, we aren't "ladies only" - we appreciate input and comments from regular, perceptive, or intelligent customers and from other industry professionals. We tolerate posts from imbeciles and little boys who like to pretend to sound important. We're used to that though, it's part of our job ;-)

Re: The TRUE PURPOSE of this site...
Right while the original purpose was to have a place for communication and resources for strippers, it was expected that customers would want to join in too, and I think everyone welcomes that. Heck there's pretty much always been a section for Customer Conversation, and later a whole site for customers was created. There isn't quite as much on that site as this one, but it IS newer and like this one, I suspect Pryce wants to grow it slowly. It took quite a while for this one to gain the presence it has, so it follows that the blue one will take a while to catch up.
While the ladies here do tend to want some private sections where the boys can't go, it doesn't mean the boys aren't welcome at all. It's like when a group of women has a 'ladies night out', more often than not they are interested in ONLY hanging out with the girls for that night - female bonding - then the next day it's life as normal. But when guys have a 'boys night out', they almost invariably want that to include the presence of women - the same way the guys on the blue site WANT us ladies to participate over there, and mostly aren't interested in having what one called a 'sausage party'.
Guys, women will always want to have their private times with each other; it's part of what makes us different. No need to feel unwanted or unloved ;)
I do agree that there should be a link to the blue site from this one, probably from the front page.
Re: The TRUE PURPOSE of this site...
This is why women go to the restroom in groups ..... They don't ALL need to "pee" at the same time. Since women in general don't have the physical powers of men they VALUE thier power of Mystery and inaccessability. I view a "Ladies Only"" section as the cyber equivalent of the "Restroom". I say let them piss in private. That way we won't have to worry about who left the toilet seat UP (or in the case of some of the more obnoxious intruders ...who forgot to raise it and left those wet spots).
Re: The TRUE PURPOSE of this site...
Lena, in the description it says this site is for dancers. Although I am not a professional stripper I still think I qualify under that category. The thing that attracted me to this site is that I have so much in common with the dancers here. I did not mean to get into the "girl talk" intentionally.
Most of the articles here are those of my interest. I started out in the customer talk section but I found it extemely limited. I went to the blue site but do not connect as strongly as I do here.
If you happen to notice, I also like to bridge the gap between male and female attitudes.
