Look at what where your part of tip money goes
“Go sell crazy someplace else lady were all full up here".Jack Nicholson in the Movie As Good As It Gets .
Déjà vu in San Francisco owns all but 4 theaters all acquired in the last few years. So if times are so tough for them that they need the girls stage fees why have they continued to by up more Clubs and properties. I went down to city hall to get an idea of who owns what and how much it’s worth.
The most expensive piece or property (and biggest dump a dance club turned whore house) Market Street Cinema is owned by Roger Forbes of Seattle Wa. He is the front man for Mohney (the guy who really owns all these clubs who cannot own these types of properties because he’s a convicted felon on tax evasion he did 5 years in a federal penitentiary)
Market Street Cinema taxable income 2,567,069.
The New Century is 393,783 they do not own the land. Now we to have to guess how much was the business itself sold for these 2 properties your guess is as good as mine. But you figure it’s somewhere in the area of $300,000 to 2 million maybe more with the way thses places make money from the customer & dancers .
So say between 3.5 and 5 million must have gone out for these 2 theaters maybe more. maybe less. But that’s a lot of money for those poor owners who have to hit up the poor dancer trying to make a living students and mothers alike.
Former Boys Toys now Show Girls. Building and land improvements according to city hall are 1,480,804 (they don’t own the property).
They bought the (phony Larry Flynt) Hustler Honey (which was opened 1 year ago February) That must have been 200,000 to half a million to get it going along with Déjà vu Showgirls that was already there across the street and down a few doors too pressure Boys Toys into selling and it worked.
So 1.5 million for the land and Restaurant bar upstairs and downstairs they probably paid between 3 to 7 million for that.
That’s about 6 to 12 million bucks worth of new property that they have bought in the last few years while they are trying to say stage fees are necessary to stay afloat.
And in owning all the clubs they can set the stage fees at any price they want and the girls have no other clubs to go to.
Mohney owns 2 other clubs on Market Street purchased in the last few years and 4 other small clubs in the Broadway area. For a total of 60 theaters and god knows how many porn theater, sex toyshops.
Hey man can you spare a little change, yeah, half your money should do fine, and thank you so much you have no idea how hard it is for us millionaires.
San Francisco $400 for you to dance on a stage that they need you to dance on or no one comes in. Am I right your not going to see a movie and the movie doesn't play.
They need you to dance but you pay them. And I have seen it with so many girls that the girls dance once that night and other nights twice. Songs are 3 to 5 minutes long on average.
So they call it a stage fee. To use the stage I guess. So lets say the stage costs $2000 to $5000 to build. The stage has been there for 25 years a few remodelings a new floor once in 15 years the lets say the remodeling (putting on anew floor) cost $3000. The same seats for last 20 years they charge $40 to get in and for the private booths it’s $2 a minute (which if things were fair the girl should get a percentage
How does a girl who's on stage for 6 to 15 minutes put wear and tear on a stage an night = $400 dollars. When they need the girls to go on stage right no movie no customers. No Girls no customers.
Re: Have a look at what where your tip money goes
This has nothing to do with actual cost recovery - it has to do with free market dynamics. As long as enough girls are willing to pay a $400 stage fee in order to earn $1000+ at that club, while their option is to pay a $50 stage fee but earn only $400 at a different club, high stage fees aren't going to get any lower.
The only possible leverage that dancers might have to address high stage fees is, as you point out, a 'strike'. But in this business, with so many dancers spending their money as fast as they earn it, and with so many dancers willing to travel to areas with better earnings opportunities, and with so many 'corporate club' chains where importing dancers only takes a phone call to a sister club, there is just NO WAY that a 'strike' could be effective.
Re: Look at what where your part of tip money goes
One owns a business to make as much profit as possible. prices in any business will be set as high as the market will bear.
$20 for a table or lap dance is too much also. Safeway and Albertsons grossly overcharge their customers. Albertsons had good prices until they acquired Lucky. If these chains dominate the market, then they can each force prices upwards which they have.
Regular unleaded gasoline in houston now goes for $1.34- $1.39 per gallon everywhere. In the Bay area I gather the cheapest independents and Arco's are around $1.69.
The cost of real estate inside SF is astronomical and those properties did not come cheap. legal fees eat up a large portion of profits as clubs are always in court trying to survive.
Granted the house fees are high. But look at who owns these places. Sheisters and underworld figures who have little compassion for others beyond themselves. they have more dancers than they really need and as long as those dancers have good earnings potential, the clubs there will charge as much as they can and still have plenty of girls to work.
That is why the level of sex acts has gone up in the club over the past decade. with the new back rooms in MSC, they gave the customers the opportunity to have get what they really want out of a club and with the higher payouts it forces the girls to have to deliver to make payout and maximize their earnings.
Granted a $60-70 payout would generate a decent profit, you're just looking at the same phenomenon that causes a bounced check to cost the consumer $28, a credit card late fee of $25 to be imposed if you are one day late, and all grace periods eliminated as well, and the same with high priced prescriptions. Greed is the word and as long as you work for someone else you have to go by their rules.
Re: Look at what where your part of tip money goes
Dude, this topic is getting tiresome. We have already stated our stance on paying house fees. Aren't you the same person who trolled on here a while back, ranting on and on like a lunatic about how we should all sue the clubs, and how we could get $40,000 in a few months if we did? Enough already.

Excuse me nightrider, but I have not PERSONALLY attacked you. I attempted to argue some of your points and/or reasoning behind your fanatical posts, and you ignored me - showing that apparently you can't or don't want to present an mature, logical argument. The only thing I have posted about you that could be construed as even MILDLY personal is the fact that you repeatedly insult anyone who disagrees with you. You use name-calling and tell people they don't know what they're talking about, instead of offering any sort of logical, intelligient or mature arguments for your position. We have debates and disagreements on this site all the time, and they're left alone as long as those involved are not insulting, attacking or degrading others. Insulting, attacking and degrading is your constant and only response to anyone who disagrees with you. No one will listen to you when you do that. You will only be viewed as a pest who needs to be swatted away.
Furthermore, I stated in private to administrators and other members of this site that the ISSUES you were bringing should be left for everyone to discuss as long as your posts remained relatively appropriate. I was (and still am) in favor of giving you the opportunity to argue (maturely) your position on issues you bring up, but so far you have shown that you are unable or unwilling to do so IN A MATURE WAY. I agree with those who want to ban you if you can't/won't post and debate appropriately and maturely. This is an adult site.
There is absolutely no need to flood the site with numerous posts on the exact same topic. Believe me, a topic like the one you constantly bring up is highly debatable and will be discussed at length by the site-members, as long as you don't flame and insult people when they attempt to discuss and debate. But since you always flame, insult and over-saturate with numerous spam-like posts, everyone grows tired of your tactics quickly and the issues you bring never get properly discussed. I am thoroughly disappointed that you can't participate in a mature debate. I for one was hoping you could/would.
We have already stated our stance on paying house fees
Is that like "We" the people of America or "We" the dictator of Iraq?
Who is "WE"? The votes before it was changed was 14 to 12 in favor of no stage fees.
How you mean the We 12 people out off 1500 + hardly seems like a majority to me.
Don't you think the 14 who voted (majority wins) might be a We too that won the majority vote?
How about the other 1500 plus members are that didn't vote are they a part of "We"too.
How about the "We people that worked to change the laws in California. or the100's of "We's" that have filed complaints againts the theaters here that thay are currently sueing?
How about the 250,000 to half a million + other "We's" might want to speak on their own behalf or do you have their proxy vote?
Aren't you the same person who trolled on here a while back, ranting on and on like a lunatic about how we should all sue the clubs, and how we could get $40,000 in a few months if we did? Enough already.
I thought no personal attacks was one of Pryce's rules on this site?

I have freedom of choice to talk to or post to whomever I like.

Re: Look at what where your part of tip money goes
'We' is those who chose to comment/vote. If you keep bringing it up, you're not going to get a different reaction from those of us who were interested enough to comment, nor are you going to spark the interest of those who weren't. There's nothing wrong with posting your concerns, but geez man, not over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Your posts are more mature and reasonable than before, but you're still clogging the boards with the same topic(s). Clogging the boards is annoying, similar to saying the same thing over and over in a realtime discussion, and makes people want to ignore you. A little off-topic, but it also makes people wonder if you ever have other thoughts in your head?

Re: Look at what where your part of tip money goes
Nightrider, we all know that you think the stage fee's in SF are too high. We all know that you're on this crusade to get everyone to agree with you. Those on this board who have wanted to agree/disagree with you have had ample opportunity to do so. Really. You can shut up now.

Thank you for your comments they are appreciated both reasonable informitve. You just said the magic words work for someone else & that is exactly the issue. Your treated like an employee but they tell you your a private contractor. :o
Re: Look at what where your part of tip money goes
Uhmm...hate to tell ya, babe, but that's exactly what you did. Unsolicited posts of a somewhat commercial nature (to convince us to join a class-action lawsuit, if I remember correctly) on a newsgroup.
Unfortunately, it seems like these threads don't have an unsubscribe link like most spam does.
Re: Look at what where your part of tip money goes
Yes unsubscribe from Nightrider LOL!
Lynn's post says she liked Pryce's SPAM comment, not your post Nightrider. She likes the little SPAM icon. Effectively agreeing that you are just SPAMMING the boards!
SPAM doesn't only come in email, it comes in newsgroups, chats and message boards as well. I suspect you are a pro at SPAMMING all those mediums and more.
Re: Look at what where your part of tip money goes
We have also seen what you have done @ other boards NR - and that is definitely spam and trolling.
http://www.exclusivetvlnet.com/miva/...rting_root=261
Because of that behavior and your past actions here...I'd suggest that you, personally, tread lightly here.
You have posted on the same topic over and over. There does not seem to be much interest...maybe it is the topic, maybe it is your approach. Either way, you have mentioned that you have created a site for your views, great. When it is complete - send me the address and maybe we can trade links.
FYI - the two posts following this were taken from another topic, we don't need two NR posts wasting space.

2 what happens on other sites is none of your bussiness.
3 You are not do well enogh here to go pointing fingers at anybody.
Re: Look at what where your part of tip money goes
I looked up the ip address...it matches yours NR, so they are yours.
Spam is any unsolicited message...even more so when the message is not just unsolicited, but rejected.
It is more than fair to look at your behavior on other sites and relate that to your behavior here - especially when the two are inline.
I tried being polite but I don't have time for this, bye NR. [beamup]
