Evie! :)
8) I used to dance under the name "Suzy Q" like the old rock 'n' roll song. I'm thinking of getting into burlesque, but if I do I'll probably dance under Paige as a tribute to Bettie Page. Cheers!!! Harlow
I started out as Mileena, after the Mortal Kombat character, but changed it when some chick came in and used a name very similar to mine. Now I go by Raven.
Cg!! :) but its also a nickname .. friends call me Ceeg for short lol
For nearly 11 yrs now, I have been Elizabeth.. or Liz... I started back up in the clubs in June & was dating this "great" guy.. he gave me my new name... I am...
DeZirE~~~
Now THAT'S a stripper name! lol
Of course, I am asked, EVERYTIME, "What's your real name?" or my personal fave, "Is that your real name??" (morons..) So, my Real Name is Elizabeth! lol Hey! I already answer to it! lol :)
I have danced by several names. My first was Ramona. I also did not name myself. I have been Paige or Carrie (shichever is open at the current club) for most of my career. I prefer Paige but I OFTEN use Carrie. I actually think I have been Carrie more than Paige. lol.
I should add .. my favorite stipper name is Bubbles. I would never dance by it but it used to be the name we always tried to get new girls to use. We got a few to use it. I think it is hysterically funny
Cashmere......real name Jennifer
Thank you! I like yours, too ... a -lot-. It totally pays to have a gamer stage name, doesn't it? Gamer boys catch it right away, and its like they're yours for the rest of the night. I actually have a couple of regulars because of it (not exclusively due to my name, but you know).
Layla
It really depends on the crowd or the club. My realistic stage name is "Kassidy". I love it. If everyone is going by objects or adjectives, I got by "Fat Kat". LOL! I was going to go by Karmen Sutra, but luckily, ya'll helped me realize that was some corny shit. Thank God for SW!!!! LOL!
How is the name Amber?
This thread is old and there are a million of them but I'll bite. I've been Tempest and I always will be Tempest. The name Amber is great.
Phaedra. Maybe it's my fault but no one ever understands and mispronounces it until I just give up and say it reeeaaal slow. Then I have to explain that it's Greek. I thought maybe people would get a kick out of hearing the story, they don't. So then I thought maybe they'd be interested in it being a Lee Hazelwood/Nancy Sinatra song, and one old guy who I was *sure* would know it said he didn't know who Lee Hazelwood is. So go figure being smart doesn't work haha.
I always end up changing mine. I used to go by zola but this new club wanted a more "Christian" name, so I'm going by Lillith. If I'm being bubbly I just say Lily, if I'm being more seductive I say Lillith though.
I liked Zola since that used to be Marilyn Monroe's name when she was traveling around. Meh, maybe if I switch clubs ever again.
^^
I love that you went the dark route. Christian names at a strip club, oh the irony.
My name stage name is Avery, I prefer the more realistic names it prevents a lot of the “What is your real name question”
Bwuahaha! Yay for someone getting. Ugh it's just because it's "upscale" so they don't want names like ecstasy but really everyone ends up with indistinctable names, which sucks for girls who really can't work the girl next door and like more strippery names.
My stage name is Desire, though this is usually shortened to 'D'. I have this really strange love/hate relationship with it. On my very first day of dancing the girls at the club collectively 'gave' me that name, so it feels kindof sinful to change it, lol. Plus, when working in the same place for years it is kindof pointless to change your name, hahaha. I am seriously thinking about using 'Ananse' as my new stagename if I continue to dance after I move...Oo
I go by Shi, I wish I had gone with a more realistic name now because now I always get the "hi i'm bashful" or "you don't SEEM shy" reactions. meh.
