you forgot to add 9 inchers :o
started out in a 4 in then a few weeks later on to 5 in. always prefered an open toe 6 in w/ a platform spike. The platforms helped with pain in the balls of my feet, especial in the bunion [grr]. Not all clubs allow the platforms though :( I do not however care for the realy chunky heel style.......
I have 6' platforms w/spiked heels. The taller shoes look more feminine, esp. if your short. I like spiked heels b/c I do alot of spins and stuff, it makes it easier to balance on the toes than the chucky heels.
When I started dancing I wore 6" heel's and I have found that for some reason now that I have graduated to 7" and then 8" that they seem to be easier on my feet. They seem to distribute the weight more evenly.
I also wear only spike's.
lol im about 6'5 in my heels.. makes me look so slender.. and makes my legs look like they could wrap around someone a few times over
I use 6" minimum, but for me the taller the better. I love the 8" but they are fairly hard to find in my size and in styles/colors I like. So mostly I use 7", but will go down to 6" if I have to in order to get a good style/color. Also, I work ALOT so I wear my shoes out quickly, and usually buy new ones at least every 6 weeks, usually 4-5, so it seems I'm always breaking in new shoes!
I dont wear platforms so 6 inches is the max for me and at that height i am still a bit wobbly when walking around the floor even though i have had loads of practice in them now. Funny thing is though I can dance in them perfectly something i could never do in platforms.
I am all over the place. I prefer boots over heels, but I know that most guys prefer heels. I am short, but pretty slender so sometimes I will wear only three inch heels. I used to wear cowboy boots. I pretty much alternate between 5 inch and 6inch spikes w/ platforms.
Cheers,
Corey
I wear mostly 6". Which is the nomal high, I think. The hightest shoe I have is 7 1/2 inch which is hard to walk on carpet with.
I pressed 7 inches, but I meant 6. Mine are spiked here platforms..back with rhinestones on the front. They are gorgeous. :)
Depends on how I feel. I have pairs from 6" all the way up to 8 1/2" It all depends on how I feel, what outfit I'm wearing and if I'm having my period or not. (If I am, I go for the lowest heels possible to minimize cramping.)
I have many pairs of shoes that range in 5, 6, and 7. I prefer size 6 though, they're most comfortable to me. But for those extra nights where I want an extra inch (wow, that didn't come out right.. heh), and want to hit 5'10", I grab my 7's.
I've actually gone down to 5". I like how this heel size keeps an arch in my foot.

This is a true statement. The higher the heel, the higher the platform of the shoe, which means that they are more stable...
I prefer 8 inches
I don't wear platforms so generally I only stick to 4" or 5". But I was taught that platforms are like bride of frankinstein shoes and guys don't liek them, I know some guys do though.... But guys also like to be taller then you. Its a phycological thing, he feels superior or something. So I don't like to add to my height since I am 5'10 in my heels and most guys are about 6.
mostly 6" sometimes 7"
My favorite shoes are 7 !/2 to 8 1/2. For some reason I do not feel comfortable in shorter shoes. I think wearing taller heels makes my legs look longer and smooths out cellutlite. ;) Although I do not like looking super tall.
I am 5'10 and just started dancing a few months ago in 5 inch semi chunky heels shoes. I am working on graduating to 6 inch platform heels but am afraid of seeming freakishly tall. We shall see...
8
i wear 7 inch heels only the ones with the spiky heel though
Sometimes I wear 6 inch heels, sometimes 5 inches. :)
I've been wearing the same style shoe for the past twoand a half years, and they are (I think) 7 1/2 inches. They are very comfortable, and fairly sturdy....but I think it's time for a change...something an inch or two shorter, perhaps? I' 5' 6 in my bare feet, so the 7 inchers put me well over 6' tall, which seems to be taller than a lot of customers.
I'm 5'11" in flats, so the high heel issue has always been a big deal to me. I LOOOOOVEEEE my 8 inch platforms, but come on people, I'm kinda amazonian when I wore them. The *only* time that I got a fabulous response wearing them was when I wore them out on the town for Halloween and was a 6'7" Tinkebell. LOL.
I would love to wear the higher the better, but find that my best money makers are my 5 or 6 inch stillettos.
