OMG... im auditioning on sunday... my first
i am auditioning at dangerous curves in philadelphia on sunday... i just recently decided to finally try out dancing, as i have been curious for awhile. can anyone give me any pointers... like what i should wear, do i have to bring music, any moves that they would like that i could try to learn? any answers would be greatly appreciated!

umm where do I begin. You should wear something that you are very comfortable in! Main point! The shoes should also be worn in before you get on stage in them. Walk around the house a little while. No you do not have to bring your own music, just have a music preference in mind for the dj. The moves are all up to you! Basically it is how you decide to dance whether it be sensual-slow-moving or fast-paced. Good luck! ;)

Hey hun...I just started dancing, so the audition process is still fresh for me. I agree with Messi, make sure you are very very comfortable in yur shoes. I wore mine around the house for days looking like a dork, but I am so glad I did. When you are dancing, make sure you move slowly and sensually. Some girls can do fast-paced, but I have found they are very experienced dancers, which we are not. ;) That was some of the best advice I got fom dancers was to move slowly, it look much better. Also, make sure to give a lot of eye contact to your audience and make each guy in the room feel like you are dancing just for him. It's sexy as hell, and customers feel like you are on a more personal level than those girls who get onstage and lazily walk around and maybe half-heartedly twirl around the pole a few times. Can you do the splits??? If so when you are on the floor, lay back and spread your legs apart and slowly run your hand down your thigh, you know what I mean....arch your back and move your hips slowly, like you are having sex...etc etc. It's a performance. I would wear a basic dress, nothing too complicatedwith straps and hooks. Practice getting out of it with your shoes on, very important I learned. :) I am not familar with the club you are auditioning at, but if it's more upscale, definitely go for the dress. Well, best of luck to you Sunday!!! Tell us how it goes for you. :D

Hi lady! I too go for my first on Tues. Very, very nerveous. I wish u the best. I- unfortunately am not doing this because I am curious, just very financially strapped right now. Been dancing all over the house, the dogs think I've lost my mind!!!!!! Anyway, I truly do wish you the best. Let me know how it goes. I have a huge mirror in my bathroom, and have clear christmas lights all over my bath, so what I've done is turn off all of the lights and got in front of the mirror to practice. Things DO look much better in very dim light. LMAO. Going to "perform" for my male neighbor which is also a good friend before heading out for my audition. By the way,,,,,,,,,,,,, does anyone know of a lotion which you can apply which makes the skin appear tighter???????? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone told me that you could purchase a tightening cream. Are they pulling my leg? I'm going to just act like I'm the most sensual person on the face of the planet when I aucition and go from there............ Good luck to you! ;D

You can purchase many lotions that will temporarily tighten the skin. Nivea makes a good one now. It last about 12 hours, the bottle says. Go to any walgreens, eckerds, or store that sells lotions and shampoos. They have a good selection. Also heard St. Ives has a skin firming lotion out, with micro-powered moisture.
Not sure how good any of these products work, but good luck.
