Re: Fines
Here we go.. this is straight from "Bad Girls and Santa Fe Gold Manual" (Gold Coast, Australia)
Fines are in place to ensure that you do the right thing at all times and if you don't, to help you remember to next time. They are as follows:
LATENESS
* $40 late on the floor by more than 5 minutes OR
* $40 late to work by more than 5 minutes
* $25 call in late if a constant offender
STAGE FINES
* $30 late onto stage when being called
* $30 going for a private show when meant to be on stage
* $30 not taking top off within 3rd song if not previously tipped
NO SHOW
* $100 not showing up for rostered shift
* $50 not producing Doctor's Certificate when required
* $50 not giving sufficient notice of shift cancellation
--- in other words, it is recommended to call 3 hours prior at the latest
* $25 shift changes/cancellations on your part to roster
* $100 walk out fine, walking out of shift without permission from supervisor or manager.
Not all of them are enforced all the time so it ain't so bad as it seems. Like.. the top off by the 3rd song fine is enforced at Bad Girls but not at Santa Fe Gold.

Re: Fines
I agree the cellphone fine is perfectly understandable. You wouldn't believe how many times I've actually seen girls doing a lapdance while yapping away with her buddy or SO on the cellphone. IMO, that is the biggest display of unprofessionalism a dancer can make. If I were an owner or manager, I would absolutely fine a girl for having her phone on the floor, and if caught doing it a second time, she'd be fired. All those calls can be made from the dressing room, period.

Re: Fines
Oh, when I said I didn't agree with the cell phone thing, I thought the rule was no cell phones at all, whether on the floor or in the dressing room. I totally agree that dancers shouldn't be using their phone out on the floor (or on stage, lol), but if they want to call customers or whatever in the dressing room, that should be perfectly okay.

Re: Fines
Oh the cell phone rule at my club is no use anywhere. (I've never seen a girl take it out on the floor with her-God I couldn't imagine) There is also a rule that no more than 3 girls may be back in the dressing room at a given time (shift change the exception) I'm not sure if there is a fine for that or not-mainly he just threatens (and often makes good) to run 2-4-1s.. since we're "obviously not busy enough"
I tried bringing up the calling customers arguement before and got the "you shouldn't be calling them anyways..." Some of these things are worse than highschool.. (and it's been a LOOONG time since I've been there) I think clubs (and their policies) would be taken much more seriously if (there was a point to them... lol) they treated them as regular employers do.. I mean you'd think it would be pretty simple..
1st time- verbal warning
2nd time-written warning
3rd time- suspension (or termination)
4th time-termination...
Guess that's too professional...
