Re: Just starting out....
Go and check out some clubs in your area. Take some friends and make a night of it. Check out the girls, the clientele and the atmosphere. Different clubs have different rules(dress code, type of dances etc...) This will give you a first-hand glimpse of what is to be expected. Some clubs have "amature" nights where you can try it out. Look for the more up-scale clubs where the clientele has more money.
Good luck!

Thanks for all your help..... Ill try my best! :)
Re: Just starting out....
If money permits...install a pole in your home!! (you mention you want to be a pole dancer.) Nothing will build confidence better than learning how to use the pole. Once you learned the pole you now have a talent. And that is one great step. For other great tips, read the "articles pages" on this site. PS and dance in front of a mirror, or friends. You will reach a comfort level. And it's expected to be nervous when you start dancing in public, no matter how good you are. Especially if going to a new club, or this being your first time. If you're in the UK, there's also www.stripmagazine.com, which, I believe, has info for all over Europe. That might be able to help you out some. I don't think there are very many reviews for the European clubs on www.stripclublist.com, but as Holly said they may be worth a look, as well.
