do you all work? I was thinking 5-6 hours a night, Mon-Sat and off every other Wednesday. Does that sound like too much? Also do any of you work more than one club?

How do you get the club to let you work only 4 hrs a day. I'd like to set a schedule like that as well....
The clubs I've talked to want you to work the whole shift. But, I haven't been in person...
If your the best they got going...do you tell them how many hours you'll work....
and how do you know when you have that much control in the situation with a club and still use them to make money...
well ashely i just freelance
i pay the bar 10 dollars to work there per shift
so if i wanted to stay for the night shift i would pay another 10
if couse i am the queen of the bar i have been there four years
i know EVERYBODY and i think im pretty well liked
if i want to go before four hours i have to pay 10 for every half hour..this rule applies to all girls
i also get a lot of business men that come in for lunch that work in surrounding offices and factories...i have built a very solid regular customer base..they all know i work days and saturday days...email helps to keep in touch with out of town cust
im not sure if theres freelancers in the states
there must be./..
i know my girlfriend in windsor goes to detroit to work/freelance...but i think her fee is like 100
best of luck ashley and liberty
holly day
Most clubs I've worked u have 2 stay at least six hours, but anything more is okay or if u leave early ten for evry hr u leave early and u only pay one house fee. Other clubs have set day or nght shifts for like 8hrs and if u come early fine, but if u stay over past the end of ur shift u have 2 pay the house fee 4 that shift as well.
Ur best bet is to go straight to the manager and ask. Some people get special treatment or hours b/c they have either been there for a long time or can keep their mouth shut. I've been allowed to come in and work three hours b/4 and leave, but i don't blab to other girls about thow i get special treatment.
Lol Holly Day, thats how you do it! And for me, i work 3 different clubs! Yep. Crazy. I pay out well, and knowing the owners (2 very nice guys) helps alot. However they do want to see my face 4 nights a week working 5 hour shifts. The other club...i just show up and do 3dx dancing or shadow dancing for an hourly wage. Tips are allowed however, but you don't get many there. They have lots of girls who like to dance there because they can't really tell who you are behind a screen or under black lights painted up! And the other club is a pain. I need to quit, or make a decision they are pushing for lap dances from all the ladies. And i understand, but i am best on stage. Pamela
I work the minimum of 3 nights/week. They are 8 hour shifts (which is why I can only do 3 nights, else I'd go crazy).
We're required not to work in any other clubs while at our club , so no, I only do freelance go-go otherwise.
If you feel you can handle that work load, then 5-6 hrs/night isn't too bad. Just be careful not to commit to that set schedule, so as not to get burnt out too easily..
I work about 3-4 nights a week and about 6 hours per shift. I think 5-6 nights a week is a bit much and a dancer would be more prone to burnout that way.
the more hours u work the more likelly your going to burn out
wearing those shoes for 8hrs is murder and it's hard on y0ur back
it's better to work less because your fresher when u come in and customers arent seeing your ass all the time...like does'nt she have a life...and you'll make more money than sitting there and rotting...
I agree that working 5-6 nights is too much. When I started it took me two days to physically recover from my first night. I was in tears by the end of the night and the following morning I could'nt even walk down the stairs.
I recomend working 3 or 4 nights a week, and not one night after another to start. When you get used to it then you can begin to double up days, like Friday and Saturday.
Another thing too. Before u begin work stretching or a little daily aerobics for like 20 min at home can't hurt to build up the chest so that u aren't onstage sweating and struggling to breathe the way lots of new girls do in the beginning.
I usually do three nights a week 4 to 6 hours per night early in the week on my WebCam. Then I usually book one complete week per month or two 3 day weekends dancing live. I do 3-4 hour photo/video shoots for my website and custom videos on the alternating Sunday afternoons that I haven't worked the previous nights.
You need to find out what works for you at that particular club.
When I'm in Vegas I usually pull 7 or 8 hour shifts because I'm there, the money is good, and I just go go go until I drop. Besides, what else am I going to do there but go back to my hotel room (or gamble)?
Lately, since Christie's has a very flexible schedule, and a low penalty for a late start (only $10 more to come in late) I've been working 4 hour shifts (9-1), 5 nights a week. It's not usually busy there til 9 anyway, so coming in earlier made me frustrated that I sat around waiting for the crowd. I do two days on, day off, three days on, day off. Every once in a while a do a 4 day week just for my down time.
When I worked longer shifts in SF, I could only manage 4 a week. More than that was major burn out.
I work 8 hours a day, Monday thru Friday...works for me. :D
I work two days a week. 8 hr. shifts. The club I work in lets you just show up if you feel like working that day. There are no real schedules, just the later you come in the more you have to tip out, and it is divided into times when you can leave. Like if you arrive between 11 am and 2 pm you can leave at 7pm, after that you can leave at midnight, after 5 pm you leave at closing time at 2 in the morning.
i work about 2 days a month, sometimes less, sometimes more.
im a club hopper
6-7 per week for 4-5 hours each night
I work 4 nights a week at the one club (the clubs around here are possessive of their dancers).
The usual shift is 7.30pm until 5am.
Only mothers, students and un-rostered dancers can change their schedule to start at a later time and/or do less days.
What I would love to do is work 5 nights per week for two to three weeks and take every fourth week 'off'. This way I can stay fresh. However, this isn't possible at my current club.
When I travel for dancing.. depending on how much I like the club and time of year.. I would like to do one-two weeks with 6 shifts each week.
2 to 4 days 8-10 hour shifts...i leave my schedule up to my quota. if i havent reached my quota for the week...i work more days and more hours
I work 6 hour shifts 4 times a week.
I'm with Tori... as a travelling dancer I am mainly looking at quotas. I have a goal of $$$ to earn for my period at the club I'm working and if I don't reach that goal within the first three shifts or first week (if I'm doing two - three weeks)... then i will do more shifts.
It also depends on whether or not I like working at the particular club I'm working. Since my last post I am now 'clubless' and my schedule is more in my hands than it was previously.
;D
Wow. Those of you who work 4-5-6! nights a week have my total admiration :worship:. When I work, I work hard, but I only work 3 nights a week for 5 hours. My goal is to get it up to 4. Anyway, what a great work ethic some of you guys have.
I wish I were more of a workaholic, but I'd much rather hang out at home on SW....heehee.
