When I've worked in a club that has a housemom, I ususally tip her a couple of bucks every time she does something for me. More if she helps do makeup or hair. Or you can tip her $5 at the end of the night if she's just keeping the dressing room straight.
Bouncers get a required $5 tip (total) at the end of the night, but this goes in to a pool they all split. I tip more on a good night but usually tip a particular bouncer directly if he directs me to a good customer, gets me a lot of dances or takes care of trouble for me. I will also tip a waitress if she sends me to a good table. I love the two bouncers that get me dances consistently - it really helps so much.
I generally tip a minimum of $10 to the housemom ( on a bad night) up to $30 on a good night.
Bouncers $5, generally.
We also tip the porter - $3-$5
And then, of course, the dj - $15-$20 (unless it's this one guy who is a bitter man and is SO mean to the girls - $10)
On a bad night I always give Mom, the bouncers, and the bartender $5, and the DJ $10. Usually I give $10-15 to them and $25-30 to the DJ. We have a pretty good staff and they really have helped me a lot, so I try to take care of them. They don't get paid that much (at my club anyway) so their tips mean a lot.
I normally tip the housemon $10, the minimum being $7. The minimum for the DJ is $15 , I give $20- $30 because they are pretty damn good.
The DJs usually come out of their booths at least once an hour scanning the floor to see who is busy with a customer doing dances in this case you will be skipped until you are done dancing.
It is not suggested nor recommended that the bouncers be tipped. I guess every club is different though. I usually don't get charged for water, soda or juice if I'm not seating with a customer but, I give the barmaid a $2-$4 tip.
We also have a valet guy that gets $5.
Tori ;)
At the majority of clubs I have worked at, everyone gets MINIMUM $5.00. I always tip more. Once, as a housemom, I got $200.
Yay!
I have always been very generous to my Dj's. They play the songs i want when i need it...ASAP $30
Housemom, $20 deserves it, these people usually help us out alot.
I have tipped bouncers/security personel for keeping close eyes on me and giving me a heads up $20.
We have no limits on either high end bucks or low tipping. Just tip. I find the money you put in their hands, comes back at ya much more. They all are the eyes and ears when we are working.
However one club years ago i did not tip certain personel, and that hurt my business with clients. I have learned to tip a generous amount, to get my turn around!

dj 10 -35
bar staff 5 each
we dont have a house mom, what a good idea
door man 5 or 10 if i work nights but i work days so there is no doormen...and the only reason i'd tip the doorman if they dont rat me out for going outside for a puff!
