Dancer 30+ please give your beauty advice.
Hello! I become 30yrs old last month and little bit concerned about my age. :'( I am working at the upscale club and most girls seems to be youger than me. I have been taking extreme care of myself but some times I need extra help.
I am Asian and I look little younger than my age but recently I am looking for some procedure to look younger.
I used to have flawless skin but now with all the smokes in the bar and wearing make up for 10+ hours it needs some help.
I am thinking about laser treatment or photo aging treatment. Have any one tried this?
I am also thinking about the artecole injection on line around the nose. Anybody know how long it will last?
Some dancers are late 30's and look like late 20's. I would like to know how they do it.
Some times I hear those dancers talking about the plastic surgeon but I could not ask any detailed questions.
If any of you ladies know the secret please share with me. ::)
Re: Dancer 30+ please give your beauty advice.
the articoll or alloderm injections produce great temporary results, but for many girls they don't last very long (like 4 to 6 months). The reason for this is that these substances are not native to your own body so that they wind up being "digested" after a while. I have had better luck with transplanting my own body fat, where the doctor "harvests" some fat cells from your tummy, concentrates them, and reinjects them someplace else (in my case around the eye circles). If you have a couple of extra pounds around the waistline, the doctor can also simply remove a lot more fat cells than he needs for the transplant while he's at it and you wind up with "liposuction" results at the same time!
As a dancer/model whose getting "up there" herself, I hear you about taking advantage of every edge you can find. I've had several "boob jobs", a couple of liposuctions, fat transplants to my eye circles, a plastic implant put into my lips etc. plus I bought my own treadmill, TotalGym and free weights and adhere to a 5 day 60 minute workout program religiously.
As far as skin goes, diet and exercise are a must. Also, tanning seriously works against you. I actually bought my own tanning bed so I can do gentle 3-4 minute sessions every day rather than hammering my skin with more minutes on fewer days in a tanning salon.

Wow my window popped off! Oh well
Hi Jade i am 33 this march and i can share some tools of the trade that have worked for me.
First who ever said long hair is out for older women is WRONG! Wear your hair anyway you like. Any age. Long hair is very sexy on an older woman. And every morning i take a prescribed multivitamin, along with an extra Vitamin E. (prescribed) I take 2000 mg of vitamin C a day. Vitamin C acts as a natural anti histimine in the body, and i don't smoke, but get my share working at times, smoke bothers me. Plus vitamin C does soooo much more. I don't eat meat. (i love animals and that was a choice.) I live on oatmealmeal, yogurt, NO white bread, stone ground whole wheat, beans. Loads of water, (bottled) i just carry it with me as a habit, then before i knew it i was sipping it all day. I get 7 hours of sleep no matter what (even if its split into cat naps) Any extra amount of sleep helps! I boil water of a stove and steam my face 3 days a week, other 4 i put cold washcloths draped over my face for 15 minutes. I have never had any sort of plastic surgery. But i use Renova (prescription on my face nightly before bed, kinda greasy, ) And during daytime i buy Alpha Hydroxy's 12 percent foot cream and use it on my face. ( yep for feet, because it's stronger.) I sleep on my back as i made that a habit, so i wont end up with permanant creases on my face, or have fluid build up in my eyes the next morning. I do not jog, lots of trainers say jogging will pull on your face skin (gravity). I walk my dogs, have a pole in my house, practice dance moves. Thats my excercise program. And yes, i have had a consult with s surgeon as well, he said i just was not ready!! WOW!!! i was cocerned about a few freckles on my face and asked about dermabrasion.. I am VERY light skinned, with blonde hair, so i notice all the new marks... But my mother is in her 70's and genes play a big part as well, she is radiant!
Get a consult, i am not against plastic surgery! Hey look at hollywood, who hasn't, they won't tell. *ha*
Sorry so long, but these are a few tips that really help me, as my hair and legs are my trademark lots say, so i would love to keep it that way!!!
Luck to you. And go get (library) books on plastic surgery, natural beauty, and the like.
One last thing: NO matter what you look like, if you show inner beauty, happiness, you are already a step above the 20 somethings in the club. Men love a woman who looks like she is comfortable with who she is! And that comes from inside you! One of the most unattractive woman i know at a club is 27 and has a shitty attitude, but very pretty. It is hurting her...badly, and a woman who is 42 YES!! Loves the club and people, that is bringing her in loads of business, and she is not a 'beauty' But damn inside she is comfortable, and i heard her say one night she has something the other 20 somethings don't have. EXPERIENCE with working a room!

Jade being 19 I look up to older dancers cause they know the game very well. Most of the young girls at upscale club are snobby and think they are all that. The women that danced for 5 years or more teach me alot and are good hustlers, why cause the have lot of regular customers. You should be happy you got it. Some girls my age cant even make money cause they dont know what the hell to do. :D
Re: Dancer 30+ please give your beauty advice.
being in your thirties you have more of a edge in this business i think. you know more, you can have a much better conversation with a customer. you know more what makes a guy tick and how to get him more than in your twenties ..... i dance circles around the little tighties in my club because somehow they think a set of perkies pays the rent .
be proud any age you are
happy dancing
hollyday ::)
