moving to vegas-- where to work?
i'm moving to vegas next month. not strictly for dancing, but mostly for other reasons (i have family there).
who wants to suggest a club where i can work regularly and pull in decent money? i worked at deja vu for a while a few years back (didn't really like it), and i've been to cheetah's and OG's as a customer (i like girls).
i'm 23 but look a bit younger, been dancing on and off since i was eighteen, and am probably about an 8 on the bachelor scale. i'm short and exotic-looking with huge boobies. i've worked in all kinds of clubs, but i kinda prefer blue-collar places over gown clubs.
Re: moving to vegas-- where to work?
If you are used to blue collar then I am guessing that means you are used to guys getting a little handsy and with your experience can handle them well. My best suggestions would be OG’s, Cheetahs, Crazy Horse 2 or Sapphire. OG’s is having some management problems because OG’s is a partial owner of Sapphire and a lot of the OG management staff was transferred to Sapphire. OG has huge name recognition and will always be steady-busy.(almost always hiring) Cheetah’s is also always steady-busy with a large blue collar crowd.(almost always hiring) CH2 is always busy and has a wide range of clientele as well as a busy VIP. (not always hiring) Sapphire is upscale but you can wear whatever you want like at the other clubs described above. Sapphire can be big and intimidating and flooded with girls not that small club feel you can have at Cheetahs. (always hiring)
You might avoid: Jaguars, it is dying; Paradise, if you don’t like gowns; most of the nude clubs, they are flooded with under 21; Spearmint Rhino, I thought it was kinda funky and didn’t like it but you might and it has ok earning potential but I haven’t heard anything good lately b/c a lot of their good girls work at Sapphire now; smaller clubs like Play it Again Sam or Library, they have a much lower earning potential.
Blue Collar can get a little dirty and while I am sure you have see it all I just thought I should mention that Paradise is probably the cleanest club in town although what those girls do after hrs. is questionable. At the higher earning blue collar clubs ie CH2 & Cheetahs extras are all too common. I left Cheetahs after watching a girl give a hj right on the floor :o in front of the directors as they ignored it. Things might be different now after the FBI raids and I would go back anyway b/c not letting the guys be handsy I made 3 in 21/2hrs and was free to leave. (could have been my lucky night or that could be common but after what I witnessed I didn’t feel I belonged)
What is nice about Vegas is that there are no schedules at most clubs and you can pretty much come and go as you please. Feel free to try all the clubs till you find what fits you.
PM me if you want a playmate at work
Re: moving to vegas-- where to work?
handsiness doesn't phase me. a hand on my back, a hand on my waist, a hand on my leg, etc is just fine. if he tries to touch me anywhere . . . . er . . . . important, i just grab the guy's hands very gently, cock my head, and say in my best mommy-voice, "now, be good."
you'd be suprised how well that works! :)
Re: moving to vegas-- where to work?
Violet-let me know where you end up working-maybe I'll come see you
Re: moving to vegas-- where to work?
well, my tentative move-date is august 10. i hate sitting at home, so i'll be working as soon as i can get hired and go get my sheriff's card (my old one's expired *growl*). as soon after that as i can either get my internet access hooked up or just get to a computer, i'll let everyone know where i am.

VIOLET-I forgot to tell you that the www.lvrj.com site has a bunch of ads for dancers wanted in town-I know that right now many clubs are hiring-goto the classified help wanted ads and scroll to D for dancer
Re: moving to vegas-- where to work?
I work at Jaguars and I LOVE IT. It is the nicest club that I have ever worked in. They are extremely picky in their hiring practices. They want their dancers to project a high maintenance image. Hair must be styled, makeup, manicure, pedicure, no black outfits, no costumes and you have to be in good shape. You need to be a "professional dancer" with one year of experience and it is not a "wanna dance" club.
I have been able to make great money almost every night that I have gone in. They have a free lunch with a cocktail deal during the day. (I was even able to make a good chunk of money during the day.) They are very fair to dancers. They are even starting a VIP list that anyone can get on provided that they meet certain requirements.
I would definately avoid Sapphires. I have heard nothing but bad things from other dancers. They treat their dancers worse than any club that I know of.
Striptease is definately a blue collar club. Money there is so-so. They have some real f-uglies there. Spearmint Rhino is a place where you can definately make some money. But at 5am the pimp convention begins and the money pretty much stops.
With any club in Las Vegas ALWAYS GET YOUR MONEY UP FRONT. The bouncers will not do anything for you. Just tell the customer that it is club policy. If the customer refuses to pay up front - then you just saved yourself from getting ripped off.
Re: moving to vegas-- where to work?
By the way Cheetahs is a total whore house. I worked there for one night. Unless you are a hooker that is a really bad place. I hope that they try to clean the club up. I have talked to a lot of people who used to work there when it was a great place for strippers to work.
Re: moving to vegas-- where to work?
I am soooo happy to hear that you are still making money at Jags. I remember mom Greta saying that the FBI raid was actually good for business when I stopped in to work a night and see how business was around the time they started making the girls go to a VIP meeting or pay a higher house fee. (I love Vegas bc if I am bored I can pop around to a dif club for a night) I didn't have my usual night and guys weren't spending like I remembered. I loved Jaguars when I worked there. The staff is great. The club is clean in all senses of the word and very comfortable for dancers. Sapphire is strict and like I posted in the reviews they will fine you and expect you to grease the directors. I know many dancers who worked at Jags and moved to Sapphire and vice versa. It is strictly my opinion from my observations that lead me to believe that there are more spending a Sapphire. But those girls that moved back to Jags did so because there is less bs to put up with (aside from the dress code) and less competition, too many girls work at Sapphire and they obviously still are making money at Jags. The way you talk about it maybe they are picking back up and that is good for dancers because when there is money in the house Jags is a great place to work.
BTW I tried out Striptease one time and it was like some sort of twilight zone. So scary! One girl comes back to the dressing room bawling bc some guy gave her a $20 for some sort of extra (I didn't ask) but no one even noticed her sobs but me. I tried to calm her down till one of the other people who was with her came back to the dressing room to help her at which point I went back to the floor. The next time I go to the back bc I am on my way out some dancer and the VIP host are in a screaming match which almost comes to blows because he is trying to extort money from her. Too much drama. Good night and farewell, I never went back I don't advise a visit.
