Philly pastie clubs
I used to work in a nude club in Columbus, GA. Then some legislation was passed saying that we had to wear g-strings and pasties (or latex) on our nipples, also we could no longer accept tips in our garter belts (or any other area) guys had to lay the tips on the stage, we could not have contact of any kind (no hugging, not even supposed to shake hands), and all table dances had to be done on these small round stages (so many feet off the ground-I can't remember how far exactly) that had to be specially built for that reason.
Is this how it is in Philly now, since the topless bars have changed to pastie clubs? Also, people stopped coming to the clubs. They were used to seeing nude women, so they boycotted the g-string and pastie thing! Plus, all of the other new rules didn't make it much fun for them, either!
Also, we had to apply for a sherrif's license, it wasn't much (between $5-$15, can't remember). Do you need a license now to work in Philly? If so, how much is it?

Re: Philly pastie clubs
I work in a Philadelphia pastie club. If anything, pasties make it so you can be a little more risque. They are high contact lap dances. The rule at our club is that you have to have one foot on the floor and the guy has to keep his hands down, otherwise, anything goes. As far as I can tell, it not has not really hurt business because guys are still getting dances.
And you do need a license which is a business privledge license. All independent contractors need this, not just dancers. And it's $200, but I don't think most clubs require you to have it right off the bat.
