Dancing in France
Does anyone know any good clubs in france? What does it take to work there? I know the French love redtape, do you go under the table? I worry about going through an agency. Does anyone know any that are really reputable and trustable?
I'll be in France May through July or so, longer if I can make money while I'm there. I'll work in any city.
Thanks

Re: Dancing in France
I have never danced in France so what I write here is based on hearsay only but:
There's Stringfellows in Paris, and also one other club, the name of which is the Pink....something. Sorry, I forgot. But it does begin with Pink. Are you an EU citizen or not?
And then that's about it. The French are very open about sex and you won't find many strip clubs as we know them, simply because a Frenchman (or woman) can go to a live sex show or get full service for an amout comparable or less than what a US club-goer pays. You do have very upscale topless or nude show clubs in Paris, but these are essentially Vegas-style revues where you must be tall and be trained in classical dance.

Re: Dancing in France
There's a brand new Larry Flynt Hustler Club in Paris that opened last October. I don't know anything about it, contact or money-wise.

Re: Dancing in France
Adina is right in that virtually every western european country (with the UK as an exception) has a two tier system of clubs. The SHOW clubs are exactly that, with the most stunning dancers who can seriously dance (i.e. Vegas Stage Revue level talent) and no contact. The SEX clubs are also exactly that, offering sex on stage and sex for money with customers with no pretenses (and many of these girls are beautiful too!). The only problem for an American girl in western Europe is --- there's no middle ground. Either you have a showgirl's body plus several years of serious dance study and training to get into the SHOW clubs, or you wind up having sex for money in the sex clubs. Except for the UK there are extremely few clubs in other western European countries which fall in between wanting to hire professional dancers and professional prostitutes. But then again in most of Europe being a professional prostitute does not carry the same stigma or the same legal consequences as it does in the US.

Re: Dancing in France
Suzie- I lived in Europe for a while and second the information about Show Bars and Sex Bars. You might want to think about Italy, though. There are some very nice strip clubs with approaches similar to the US, and a variety of contact, depending on what you're comfortable with. I'd suggest Genoa and Milan to start looking. Milan is close to the lake country which is beautiful in the summer, and Genoa is on the Med. Good luck!

Re: Dancing in France
Go to the deja vu site and look for info on the hustler club in Paris, or look up the nearest one and call and talk to a manager about it. I do know that periodically the ones hear send girls over to the Paris club, so call and see what a manager could tell you for more info or if they could give you another website.
