Re: New Orleans? Bridgette?
Bridgette has been out of town...Puerto Rico if I recall...so it'll probably be a bit before she replies.
Re: New Orleans? Bridgette?
I lived/danced in New Orleans, Scarlett's Cabaret and the Crazy Horse were my two favorite clubs. I think Ricks Cabaret, Big Daddy's still exist.
Stay away from Iberville street not a good place to go and dance ever unless your trans-gender, I do
have to say I have see some fantastic trans-gender performances in a couple of those clubs just messing
around having a couple cocktails wandering the French Quarter.
Deja Vu I believe has since bought out Scarlett's Cabaret and the Crazy Horse. If you go to
http://www.stripclublist.com/c.asp?c=17724 I would suggest this club, the security rules, Camera's
everywhere and you are safe. Plus New Orleans is begging for entertainers.
Http://www.nola.com will help with your search for housing if you choose to stay, since Katrina, I'm not sure how the money is down there but when I lived in NOLA I never left the club disappointed before Katrina if that means anything.
I don't know how deja vu runs things, but when I worked it was topless only, the couch
dances you were to be a dollar bill away at all times no contact but upstairs where
you get paid 150 to 200 for 30 minutes of you time and the money only goes up from
there it was florida style full contact minus the b.s you get in florida where guys
want way too much for 20 dollars.
Also if you do go, let me know how it is because I want to go back to NOLA worse than ever.
I am starting a new job at a brand new gentleman's club in my home town that has never had
a gentleman's club in it before, plus there isn't a bar in the club so this is going to be quite the
adventure.

Wow, this is the oldest thread I've ever seen bumped! Almost four whole years!
Perfectly valid bump-up though -- I'm actually wondering myself if there is good money to be made there for traveling dancers since I've heard it's a low-contact city.
Re: New Orleans? Bridgette?
I'm working in New Orleans now and just posted a thread asking about other clubs. No reply's yet. Business has had a definate slow down! Money hasn't been pouring in like it was a few months ago. Lots (LOTS) of immigrant workers looking for sex, weekends a little busier than the weekdays but nothing really consistant. I know girls that bounce from club to club but nobody seems to really be sticking to one place. I'd like to try other clubs just to see, but why start somewhere new for the same or less money?

Basically I'm thinking about going down there with a freind this winter sometimes. I'm about average I guess... a little big boned, exotic eyes, tall, etc. She's older but an amazing dancer. So where do we want to work? Is there a hotel that's cheap and convenient to the clubs? What's the money like? How much contact is expected/legal?
Full nudity is illegal in New Orleans. Orleans Parish (Basically your French Quarter clubs) are topless with table dances done on an 18" pedistal (its the law). VIP doesn't require the pedistal and can be done topless.
Clubs outside Orleans Parish require pasties or latex with table dances done on a pedistal. You must keep your clothing on for VIP and private dances, but I'm telling you, this does NOT prevent people from doing them. Remember, tourists go to the Quarter, locals go elsewhere. I've never had a problem selling dances/VIP on the basis of no nudity.
Certain clubs allow more contact than others. Some turn a "blind eye" to VIP such as Visions. From what I understand, none allow men to touch during a table dance, most have a no touch policy for VIP, but again, don't really enforce it.

Damn this is an old thread. My mom was warning me about how crime is coming back to the city but worse. I don't know if it's her perception or it really is worse but be careful if you are there. My mom is a worry wart but she's also been in New Orleans for years. She said that since December it has gotten a lot more dangerous than it was pre-Katrina.

That definately is not the case. No where near!
Re: New Orleans? Bridgette?
hahaha figures! My mom is so paranoid. I couldn't tell if she was being paranoid or it was like going to a third world country. I mean I grew up there, I was used to crime but she insists it's a thousand times worse and that thugs have taken over the whole city or something!
