Re: Body decoration . . .
I have noticed that a lot of guys dont care for pierced nipples - I have one pierced, but I never wear my ring to work. Guys also tend to shy away from lots of tatoos or really large tattoos. I LOVE body glitter ( I love glitter in general! :D) and I used to wear it all the time, but lots of guys will shy away from you when you wear it for fear of having it end up on them (lots of explaing to do when they get home!) I do have 2 clit piercings, and since we go nude at my club, guys seem to dig it.
hope that helps!

Re: Body decoration . . .
I'd have to agree with the body glitter.
I love to see it on but when you couple the Body glitter on you along with the perfume and lipstick from close lap dances. It makes for a lot of explaining to do at home.
Re: Body decoration . . .
All it takes is one speck of glitter to get a guy busted. Think about it. There are only two reasons an adult man would have glitter on his face or body: (1) he is a kindergarden teacher, or (2) he went to a strip club. Most married men are not "allowed" to go to strip clubs.
Re: Body decoration . . .
3) he started taking an Arts and Crafts course at the local YMCA ;D
Re: Body decoration . . .
Yes but the veteran visitor is far outwighed by the casual visitor much like myself.
Once a month is about as much as some of us go.
Any tips would be appreciated.
Re: Body decoration . . .
for one thing, stay away from those dancers that wear glitter, paint, excessive perfume, etc. smoke and alcohol stink doesn't necessarily mean you've been at a strip club... any bar or even someone's home could make you smell like that.
for what it's worth, i've heard that some guys bring a change of clothes they only wear while in the club. i guess they stop somewhere on the way there, change clothes and repeat the procedure on the homeward trek... leave the "club clothes" in the car and do laundry when the coast is clear.
Re: Body decoration . . .
The exta set of clothes is probally the most ideal route.
I had a friend that went to get gas on the way home and "accidently" spilt gas on himself so he would have an excuse to change and wash his clothes immediately.
Re: Body decoration . . .
As far as my experience goes.....the majority of men I see like nipple piercings, navel piercings, and tongue rings. The stereotypical stripper tattoo (on your back, just above the thong) is out of control here.....everyone and their mom had one.
I am going to get my navel pierced soon, I've had my tongue done for 5 years, and that's it personally....some girls look really good with body art, some just look like trash. As with anything....sometimes less is more?

My own worthless opinion.
Does nothing for me. Please, do whatever you need to do to express yourself. It's a free country. It just does nothing for me. To me, the clean lines of the female form are preferable to being cluttered up.

"But what does one do to look and smell good without putting her customer in the hot seat at home?"
concentrate on those things that the customers don't have to worry about getting on themselves. body glitter is hardly a necessity to look good, and a lot of guys think it looks weird anyway. as for perfume... opt for a light scented body spray rather then a strong perfume scent. smelling overpowering is a turn off for men and women particularly when you're up close and personal. guys normally don't enjoy a strong flowery odor overpowering them that's reminicent of the perfume counter at Macy's. use hairsprays, makeup, deodorant and skin lotions that are unscented... too many different odors coming from you are just an assault on the senses. men seem to prefer women that smell clean but more natural... the natural smell of a woman is an instinctive turn on.
Re: Body decoration . . .
I'm also a Bath & Body Works girl. About 6 months ago a customer of mine from SC gave me Creamy Coconut body creme and body spray. It has a fresh clean smell that reminds you of a warm sunny day at the beach while sipping a Pina Colada or a nice relaxing massage. I get complimented on it everyday by both customers and co-workers . I am told by some store managers that the scent is being discountinued, no problem, I found it on Ebay.
I try to do things to seperate myself from the masses and also things that help customers remember me.
I have one small tattoo on my right breast and often when going around the stage to collect my tips questions are asked that slows done my progression around the bar. Alot of times due to me answering questions my song runs out and I haven't collected all of my tips.
There is this one guy at work that won't dance with me because I have a tattoo. I usually get annoyed by the question what is your tattoo and all other related questions after hearing them 10 times a night.
I've been told I have beautiful almond shaped eyes so I try to enhance them everynight I work. I usually use eye color by Urban Decay or MAC that matches my outfits. I don't wear lipstick only a clear gloss with a silver, gold, red, pink or lavender light glitter on top.
I also wear shoes that compliment each outfit I wear. I have somewhat of a shoe fetish and refuse to wear the same shoes with every outfit. I usually shop at a few different sites and pay only $20-$30 for a pair of shoes. Sorry I didn't mean to rattle on ;)
Re: Body decoration . . .
I am not sure if this qualifies..it is a body decoration yes , but different. Temporary. I have paint on Latex in all colors. You wash. then on damp skin you paint the latex on. It dries, and you wear it like its clothing! Cool really, you just pull it off at the end of the night, and wash. I have painted on gloves, chockers, and leggings so far. I am pretty new to the stuff, but having fun with it.

Re: Body decoration . . .
re: eye primer... I use MAC's concealer as an eyeshadow primer, actually. I've since found another concealer I prefer for the rest of my face, but the MAC one keeps just about any shadow from creasing. I've also heard good (REALLY good) things about benefit's FYeye (I think it is called...), but I haven't tried it personally.
Liquid latex is FUN. I used some a while back for a contest... I painted on booty shorts (over a thong.. don't wanna get that stuff in your goodies.. ick) and over my tits, and then let the guys at the rack paint on my back and arms.. and then peeled it all off. It went over really well. It does tend to stick to itself, so I'd beware using it for stockings or gloves.. it could be just the kind I used. I've heard of latex that dries like latex clothing, but the stuff I had did not do that at all. It wasn't very expensive, though. I got it at a sex shop and it was about $20 for a big tub of the stuff.. I have *tons* left over.
I have three tats, one above my right breast, one on my right ankle, and one on my left arm. I don't usually get questioned about them very much, though I have gotten "What's that mean?" more than a few times. I also have my tongue and nipple pierced, which always leads to the "Did it hurt?" question. I just say yes, but it was worth it.
Re: Body decoration . . .
I used to have nipple piercings: they never seemed to hurt my money and I'm so glad I had them because they made my nipples permanently more sensitive. However, I have no tattoos and no plans for any, ever. I think today the majority of dancers have them, though.
As far as smelling good w/o heavy perfume, I use scented soaps and lotions (put on the lotion well before work so that it won't rub off on patrons or the stage) and am always complimented on how nice I smell. Instead of spraying on lots of body spray, I use baby wipes to keep fresh.
I also don't leave lipstick on guys - unless they particularly want it.
Glitter doesn't do a thing for me. It makes me think of rave kids and glam rock rather than sexy girls - it's a little juvenile and stagey.
Some decorations I do like are accessories - there's a girl I've worked with who always was completely done out in her outfits. If she wore a cherry print outfit she would have cherry earrings, bracelets and necklaces, cherry shoes, little fake cherry tattoos or armbands, and little cherry barrettes in her hair. If a schoolgirl, she had a rosary, a tiny backpack, maryjanes, and ruffled panties. I really like a put-together look and think that's great decoration.
Re: Body decoration . . .
Candigirl the name of the liquid latex is 'Deviant liquid latex'. Its very shiny, and comes with stardust pearl or metallic to put on it while its still wet. Apply 3 coats, when it is dry this kind is not sticky at all, it looks just like clothing! I am kinda getting hooked. And my roomate builds Harley Davidson bikes, thats where i got it. They carry alll kinds of stuff like leather, latex and this to name a few. Pamela
Re: Body decoration . . .
I personally don't have any tatoos, only because I am scared! I do think some of them look nice tho.
I also rarely wear any perfume or body spray. Mostly so the guys don't go home finding themselves in the dog house. I get so many compliments on how I smell and even have it work in my favor for getting dances with customers who would normally not. On the rare occasion that I do feel like wearing some scent, I usually wear a light soapy smell like grapefruit daisy. The guys seem to love that I smell clean and natural.
To decorate yourself you could start with your nails. Nice polish or air brushing on hands and feet looks great! I worked with a girl that used to stick little jewels on her body in a design. Also, non-permanent jewelry. I have seen all these in clubs and thought they looked good on the girls that did them. Hope this gives you some other ideas. :)
Re: Body decoration . . .
OK, everyone's got a preference, right? But let's don't forget it's a BUSINESS. My OWN experience -- and based on the clubs where I've worked -- is that the heavy tippers are NOT terrifically turned on by lots of piercing and tattoos. In my experience, and I know this is going to sound a little sick, but the heavy tippers are turned on by the girl who looks like their teenage daughter's best friend.
Exceptions: some heavy tippers also go for the "leather" look. These guys want someone to drag them in the back room and tell them what bad boys they've been. I'll admit a FEW of the heavy tippers are looking for the "bad girls" (or really, "good girls GONE BAD, if you know what I mean). However, in my own experience, the guys who are turned on by lots of piercings and tattoos are NOT the best customers....
