there's actually an option which significantly red
... if you're committed to the idea of a breast augmentation, it's totally possible to get larger implants and to have all of your internal breast tissue removed during the surgery. I had this done myself. On the downside it means that you won't have milk glands left to breast feed a child should you ever decide to have one. But on the up side your implanted breasts will look better (since the shape of your breast will be determined by the shape of your implant without having to worry about your natural breast tissue sitting on top), and you can't develop cancer of the breast tissue if the only tissue actually there is skin!
Re: BA's - making the 1001cc threshold for taxes
Alanna I never stopped to think about that, but it just might work. Some wild guesswork here but here goes. I would guess that a natural C cup breast has a volume somewhere around 500cc. Removing that 500cc in natural breast tissue and putting in a 1001cc implant would be the same in principle as keeping natural tissue plus adding 501cc's. It should result in a new cup size around DD, perhaps DDD. This size was PERFECT for maximizing house dancing income when I had them - it's big enough to be noticed from across the club but still small enough to not look circus freak, and you can easily "dress them down" with a minimizer bra or baggy tops for going about real life necessities without being hassled. If you're truly worried about the size thing, ADJUSTABLE implants are available where they can be put in at one size (say 650cc = D cup) and once you get used to them the doc can just inject more saline to pump them up to 1001cc for the tax deduction.
To Alanna re back problems ...
... you're overlooking the fact that adjustable implants are adjustable in both directions. Fill them up to 1001cc for the deduction to start with. Then if the weight (2 pounds apiece at 1001cc - 1 pound of natural tissue removed = one extra pound) does give you back problems have your plastic surgeon remove some of the saline to lighten the load!
Actually, while 1001cc might sound huge, consider the fact that I have about 3800cc right now and mine weigh about 7 1/2 to 8 pounds each. As long as you're in any kind of reasonable physical shape I doubt you'll have problems at all with 1 extra pound.

Says whom...Cancer is cancer regardless if you have breast tissue or not. If getting implants were considered a sure fire preventative method..then don't you think that doctors would be recommending it. I can't believe you would even sit and write such god awful lies about preventing cancer in the form of breast augmentation. For everyone here who is actually looking at this post as a blessing in disguise..please, do yourself a favor and research this on your own!
