Would there be really negative effects if xenadrine (regular and ephedrine free) was combined with drugs such as coke, weed, ecstasy, etc?
Sorry if this is a really stupid question with an obvious answer, but it's better safe than sorry... ???

If you have any experience with ecstasy, you know that - in addition to other effects - it causes your heart to race. This is a sometimes dangerous effect of ephedrine, as well (Ephedra is sometimes referred to as herbal Ecstasy), so I would most definitely *NEVER, EVER* take these drugs together. I don't know much about cocaine myself, but it is a stimulant. As such, it will cause sudden increases in heart rate and blood pressure. Basically, this is the same scenario as mixing ecstasy with ephedrine - mixing two products with stimulant effects is NEVER a smart thing to do. I can't really comment on mixing the effects of weed while on ephedrine, but I would *strongly* advise against it.
I, myself, have taken Xenadrine from time to time (never for long periods of time - usually in a smaller dosage as an energy booster) and I have never mixed any sort of drug or alcohol in while I was taking it. It's just not safe. You always have to be very careful when putting outside materials - "natural" or not - into your body and it just doesn't make sense to take things that could increase the likelihood of any adverse side effects.
So, say that drugs would most likely be used on occasion...would you recommend ephedrine free xenadrine? I know it would still be dangerous, but would it be safer? My other question is, do you really find ef as effective as regular xenadrine?
I've never used the ephedrine-free version myself - only the version with ephedrine. However, if you read my first post under the topic entitled "j", you'll see that the "ephedrine-free" version is not actually free of Ephedra, just free of ephedrine - there is a difference. If you intend to continue using drugs (especially those with stimulant qualities) - even occassionally - while on Xenadrine, I would strongly recommend not taking either form. The effects are potentially fatal. :o
When it came to it, i would choose one over the other~thank you for the information!
Stoby, responding to your first question, you are talking mixing drugs! Whoa! And very potent and illegal drugs at that. Coke? That is a big time stimulant. Weed? Goes either way for some people, for many it is a relaxer and pain reliever. (i smoked pot one time and got paranoid.) And for XTC.....well that drug as well is a major stimulant, and can cause brain damage. Check out
Hope this helps you, Pamela
Say like a stroke? Heart failure? Maybe a few other wonderful things?
Guess what - my prescribed ADD medication is probably the same strength of stimulant as Xenadrine, maybe less. I ended up in the ER for an emergency EKG when I combined it with three cups of coffee one morning, before going to school.
And I would say that is a far less dangerous combination than Xenadrine and illegal stimulants such as cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstacy, etc...

I have just started taking Xedadrine, and on the label it warns that taking additional caffeine can cause serious adverse health effects. I get nervous drinking a few glasses of Diet Pepsi at work....considering that coke is like, caffeine x 1000 I would definitely only stick to doing one thing at a time!
My thoughts exactly. I'm way too scared of combining anything like that - especially with something like ephedra which can be dangerous to begin with. When taking a supplement like that, I am always extra careful to check the contents of whatever other things (food, drink, etc.). I live on Coke, myself. You might want to try getting the caffeine-free kind, it tastes exactly the same as the original to me.
