Love Enigma, check these guys out...
Pamela,
I know you really like dancing to Enigma.
Have you ever heard of/danced to "B-Tribe"?
B-tribe is the brainchild of German producer Claus Zundel.
Some describe them as "Ethnic Trance" or "Ambient Techno".
My best description is that if Gypsy Kings and Enigma were stuck in an elevator with their instruments, the result would be "B-Tribe".
Lots of Spanish/Flamenco influences mixed with that baseline and Peruvian flute (for lack of a better description) that is inherently Enigma.
I have 2 of their CD's, and I'm sure there are more by now.
The first one I have is called, "Fiesta Fatale".
Here are the tracks you might be interested in:
- 1) Fiesta Fatale - Start @ about 9.5" and it starts to really groove at around 37"
- 5) Una Vez Mas - Start at 13"
- 6) Love, Tears, Headache & Devotion - Start @ 31" and Fade Up...major hook starts around 41" (If I remember correctly, this one is one of the ones that really sounds Enigma-ish).
- 8] You Won't See Me Cry - Start @ 32"
The second CD I have is called "Sensual Sensual"
This album is a little more, well, Sensual than the previous one I mentioned.
Possible Dance Tracks:
- 1) Overture (Concierto de Aranjuez) - becomes sort of Pink Floyd-ish in the 2'00"+ range.
- 2) Alegria - Start @ 56".
- 6) Zapateado (sp?) - If I remember correctly, there is some Enigma Flute/synth embedded in this track, but don't have the time marker to give you.
Let me know what you think.
If nothing else, these are both really good for SEX music!
Just put on Fiesta Fatale, press play, get sweaty...repeat as needed.
You'll definitely need a towel and water bottle next to the bed. The city is going to have to re-zone your bedroom as a sauna, because it's going to get steamy in there. Before you start, make sure you don't have any pressing engagements (ha-ha), because you might not make them.

Re: Love Enigma, check these guys out...
Thanks Vegas DJ for putting me onto a new band, downloaded 'You Won't See Me Cry' and I just can't stop playing it. Wow what a song. We have a dancer that does a set completely of Enigma songs and I'm sure she will love this.
I might use it for our mega strip or suggest the song to a couple of dancers as their last song in their show.
Thanks again, this song is great. Sorry I get carried away when a song inspires me emotionally.
Re: Love Enigma, check these guys out...
Almost forgot, if you like mood music like that then check out Solistice. They are more lounge music but very moody, especially 'Not Alone' and 'Color'

Heard of (but never heard) "Solstice"...thanks for the recommendation...I'll definitely check them out.
As for B-Tribe, those songs that I recommended can be danced to by just about any dancer. I'm sure they have other CD's, but I haven't picked them up yet.
I you've only downloaded that one song by them, get the others, you'll play them over and over as well.

Re: Love Enigma, check these guys out...
can't find it either....:(
Re: Love Enigma, check these guys out...
For those looking for B-Tribe's 'You Won't See Me Cry' go to Grokster and you'll find it as 'Que Mala Vida'.
Pamela if you send me a private message with your email address I'll email it to you, same goes to NoaSummer, though I'm trying to send yours now. It is such a great sexy song and different to most of the band's material I've heard so far.
A note for DJ Vegas look for the band SOULSTICE not Solstice
