Something faster (but do-able), and with a beat you can move your body with perfectly.
If your club plays techno, i would say the new remix "Blinded By The Light"! The beat kicks ass, strobes go in sync with the song! And so can your body. Everyone knows the song, it's just more up beat with the remix.
That is my first choice,
Pamela
There is a cool band called Mindless Self Indulgence. They are cool in a cheeky dirty way. Don't get thrown off by the tasteless song names.(Faggot;Bitches) They are always making fun of themselves. And the crowd loves 'em. Very original. I love it!
Love it, love it, love it

"I Need You", by DJ Icey, from Break to the Dance, Volume 2, track 4.
It is techno, but has enough of a rock sound to avoid offending the rockers, and one of the most arresting, driving beats I have ever heard. Great female vocals singing, you guessed it, "I need you". There is also a guy singing about an irresistible woman he has just met, and what she has done to him, etc., etc., so the lyrics are eminently fitting for a strip club.
If this doesn't get 'em going, they're dead...
The melding of Guitar and Techno is something I wish I heard more of. I didn't like KMFDM until they started to to a techno-Thrash sort of thing.
Guitar Techno, in my opinion, is tailor made for Strip Club dancing, because it has that essential beat, but its rocking and rollicking as well.
Any other good Guitar Techno out there?
Sure there is! And plenty. If you like the thrash electro sound of KMFDM, then there is Wumpscut, Some Aphex Twin, Mentallo and the Fixer ( not good for sc's though), HIM which is excellent for sc's.
Nick Cave and Brian Eno, of course!
Fear Factory's Digimortal EP
All Snake River Conspiracy, esp "Breed" and a cover of "Lovesong"
Can't forget Ministry. Or Revolting Cocks.....and Thrill Kill.
Have you heard "Anarchy" by KMFDM?
Skinny Puppy for the end of the night.....or you can play the live version of "Smothered Hope"
More intense would be Hocico, Feindflug and Cenobita. Some of these you might have to dig for.
dig it

ps. thanks for the suggestions, Pamela and djoser
Ahh Ministry. Ironic that I am listening to "So What" while I write this. I dig the Revolting Cocks as well.Quote:

So Fear Factory did some technoish stuff? They have always been bordering on that anyway. I never heard any Skinny Puppy that I liked, but what little I have heard didnt seem techno-trash. Did they also go the way of KMFDM?
I'll check out those other ones. Thanks a bunch!
PJ
Fear Factory has a CD out called either "Remanufacture", or "Demanufacture" (actually they have BOTH--but one is techno-remixed, and one is not) that has the ultimate blend of the heaviest of metal and the most powerful of techno.
Prester_John, you will love it! Have you heard it, Juliette? I have not yet heard "Digimortal", but if it is anything like this one, I will f**king well get it, LOL.
Ministry rocks, I like "Over the Shoulder", the remix, especially, and "Angel".
KMFDM ("Kill MotherF**king Depeche Mode, as a friend of mine used to call them) is great too, lots of good stuff there! I like "Megalomaniac" in particular.
The Revolting Cocks and Skinny Puppy I have played for the right girl at the right time, but carefully, as some managers will freak out, LOL.
Actually, you might like the newest Depeche Mode CD, PJ, it is excellent! Also check out the newest Crystal Method CD for some more hot rock/techno. A Split Second has some of this stuff, too, I have a remix CD of theirs that is fantastic! I will find the title when I finish moving...
A split second as in Rigor Mortis from Wax Trax? Ver cool. I had forgotton all about that label.
Maybe you could try DJ Raps Bad Girl.
"Because I Got High" - works best when the DJ pulls audience participation

Alright, if you want some bangin' music, here's another one that is hard to beat.
And it's called---you're gonna love this...
"Go Bang"
It's another hit by that vixen DJ Baby Anne, who has got to be one of the very finest techno DJs out there. Her "Pepper Spray" is better known, and is also another track guaranteed to pump up the crowd, but this one has even more adrenaline-stimulating potential, if that's possible.
The dj at my club plays that techno song "disco balls" all the time and it works well.
in addition...
but the club goes nuts on a fri or sat when they put on 50 cent and this is the most expensive club in Vegas.
