It actually sounds a lot closer to the original than you might suspect, but the gutsy Zombie sound is unmistakeable if you listen closely.

I dig Rob Zombie immensely. Only he can turn such wacky dance tracks like "Brickhouse" and "I'm Your Boogie Man" and make them work with a Metal/Techno-ish vibe.
He certainly has carved a niche for himself that White Zombie (a late, lamented band, by the way) never did.
I had the pleasure of seeing White Zombie at the Stone Pony Big Top in Asbury Park for my 24th Birthday. Rob Z. certain was a class-A showman.
