Hmmm... sounds like "broke" to me... Maybe even a wee bit insecure...Quote:
A psychically and healthy normal, good looking guy has no reason to go to the strip club. That’s why you girls haven’t seen them. There is lots of other place available. Way much better then a strip club. The strip club is dirty, and dark, the sound is too loud, the drink is expensive, and smokes everywhere. Honestly? It’s a boring place.
So who’s coming to the strip club? Old people with 30-35 years marriage, guy without wife or girlfriend, insecure people, losers, shy guy, 16-20 years youths who think its funny, and any others with $20-40 in the pockets. They’re coming in, sitting down; get a beer, watching the free porn.
Of course it’s just my opinion. I’m a good looking guy so don’t try to locate me in any strip club:-)

I agree about the NOT SEEING THEM IN THAT LIGHT comment which seemingly reduces the attractiveness factor. As I read this I tried to think real hard about the last time I was dancing that I actually had my head turned by a customer.
And I cant think of not one time :-/
I think thats because of the frame of mind though, I really do think so.
Coupled with the fact that I know why they are there. Also unattractive to me.
Its gotta be the environment. SURELY there has to be a better percentage than 1% but I am unfortunately inclined to go with it. :(
Brandi!
If I say my wife is a dancer too I think that’s enough :-) I don’t like it but hey not everybody has to be a rocket scientist right? There is no problem between her and me because of her job.
So what is my opinion of dancers? It's a same job as any other job. I have a respect for them and I never say anything bad about their jobs.
My first post was about the strip club atmosphere and not about the girls. Sorry if I was insulted anyone. Apologize!
Carlos!
I’m not a returning costumer! I saw too much to keep myself out of the strip clubs. As you know you don’t have to go inside every single club to get a taste. Of course there is not the entire club “dirty and noisy”. Like I said that is my opinion based on my experience.
Electric head!
In twenty years from now I’ll be 53:-) Maybe you right! I’ll be the best costumer who knows :-) Will you be dancing at that time? :-)
Cmkrnl and Amethyst,
Lol, funny!
Thomas,
Im glad you responded, your original post was a bit abrasive. :) :) :) Out of curiosity did you meet your wife at the club? If not did she tell you right away she was a dancer?
Side note:
It seems to be more socially acceptable for a man for a man to me a dancer, then it is for a female to marry a male dancer.
Tony Blair is sexy.
Hey Tom
You do not want to see me dance TRUST ME :'(
What percentage of the customers are attractive?
Who cares? I don't give a crap if they are 400 pounds or the elephant man, as long as they don't stink they'll get the exact same treatment as Brad Pitt at the club.
Really, when Im working I don't think about dates so I don't even notice what they look like. And better looking guys seem far more annoying cause then they think they can date me. I prefer the computer geeks and oldy's myself.
Oh, good, guess I'll sign up for a dance with you, lady ;D.Quote:

She was a showgirl in Vegas before we met. I was one of the viewers at her show. That was the first time when I saw her :-)
After a couple months she lost her job.:-( Then we moved to Canada, and she became a “regular” dancer. She’s been dancing for a couple years now. The first two years was ok, then year by yea it’s harder and harder. Business is getting slow as you know.
Anyway like I told before I never had and never will a problem with her job. If someone doesn’t like it I just simple ignore them! I don’t think she has to hide anything or neither I am. That’s my opinion. :-)

I’m sorry! I didn’t see the “little blue sign” under your name :-)Apologize!:-)
Best regards!
I find many of my customers from up in Northern Cal to have been intellectually engaging. I think I would lose money because I would get caught up in talking to them.
But in the long run, they would make up for it by buying many dances at one time.
Down here in S. Cal, I don't find the percentage of intelligent clientele that I did up there. Of course, dancing in the Silicon Valley, there were tons of engineers, IT guys, programmers, political activists. Almost everyone I met was computer literate. Even the older ones.
At least the lack of brain power keeps me from talking too much. I still like to talk :)
As far as like, being attracted before a guy open's his mouth? It hasn't happened too often. But I will never forget that pro-snowboard athlete that I met over a year ago! He looked like a tall, thin just mildly cute guy w/ a great personality. But when he bought a bunch of dances from me...damn those quads!! I kept in touch w/ him for about a year. Mostly, email.
It's not like I am a die hard athlete chaser, his personality and the fact that he just wanted to keep buying dances shocked me because he was also young. The quads were just a plus ;)
BTW, when the season is good, I ride the board as well.
Cheers,
Corey
What if a guy gave you his phone number and/or email and asked you to give him a buzz to hangout sometime outside of work (go to a movie, go to a bar, etc.) . . . . . Would you hold on to the number or just trash it once he left? There have been a few ladies I've met over the years I wouldn't mind hanging with outside of work :) . . . .
thomas-how did you manage to hook up with such a beauty?are you attractive?rich?just a nice person?or lucky?Quote:

I have known idea! Really!
Am I Rich? No way! Attractive? Maybe! Nice person? Hmm…I think I'm just an average guy with a good sense of humor. I was lucky yes, I can say that. Right place at the right time I guess. :-) As you know if the guy is a bit nicer then a devil you’re the winner ;-)
Anyway! It took me a few months to get her know better, but I think we had something in the first minute. Sometimes it’s hard to explain, but I think you know what I’m talking about.
Do you believe in love first sight? Well I did and I still do. :-)
Sorry! But I'd trash the number the second you left. I get a handful of business cards everynight. The only way I'll ever call is if the guy spent alot of money, and then I'd only call to make arrangements for him to see me IN THE Club again.Quote:

Strippers go to work to make money, not to make dates.
Even if you are that rare attractive customer--don't ask your dancer out and become customer 3583465345837 to use the exact same line! We are not typically shy people, if she's interested let her ask you out.
