Yes...school girl outfit works for me...but I dont do it half assed...i go all out...mary jane platforms...pig tails...glasses...shirt that is unbuttoned and just tied at the waist...
Schoolgirl outfit works for me too. I have another outfit that I thought was nothing special, but in the past three weeks, each night I have worn it has been phenomenal. Before three weeks ago I hadn't worn it in months. It is a pink 2 piece outfit I got from Flirt. It is kind of like this, but the top is only the part that covers the breasts, nothing covers the stomach, and no glitter stuff. https://www.flirtcatalog.com/catalog...9550a695b47309
Great outfit Kobi; it graps my attention, that's for sure. I can see why it works so well.
The school girl thing doesn't do anything for me, but it must work because I see many dancers with that type of outfit. Personally, I find it kind of creepy, but everyone has different tastes.
Costumes make a big difference in helping you stick out. Being one of the only girls with large natural breasts at most of the clubs I've worked at, I usually wear things that show them off.
Beyond that, I wear something that stands out and appeals to the customers. In a college town where most of the girls wear cute short sets, I banked with the professional clientele in a long white gown. If I'm not making money I'll usually look around and see what kind of clients and girls are on the floor, and then I'll turn into whatever's lacking.

It makes a huge difference. I look best in a skirt with my butt cheeks hanging out slightly. Jewelry is also super important. Up top I wear a bra or a see through lace half top or a tank top cut just below my breasts and tied in a knot. I look best in shoes that are no taller than 4" because I am already 5'6". I always take off my watch and make sure that my purse, shoes and jewelry all complement my outfit. I have a girl next door look which matches with the down home, sweet and innocent, but slightly slutty persona of my character.
Of course outfits make a difference - we are working in a visual medium! Wearing something that makes you feel hot is important; also something that stands out. Like Lena, my club's full of girls in bikinis and shorts, so a sexy dress works for me.
It's interesting that LNGU wears the short shoes - I have always been a huge proponent of wearing at least a 5" heel, but I have noticed that guys seem to be intimidated by tall girls and that the few times I've worn a lower heel (lower being 5" for me since most of my shoes are 6"-8" platforms, and never lower than a 4" heel), I've done well.
Bottom line, feel sexy and stand out from the crowd. Getting their attention is half the sale.
Kobi your outfit is awesome. I can see why it works so well for you. Funny thing is that I have danced for 6 years and I never did the school girl thing I thought too many girls did it and didnt think it would work for me. I got bored and tried it. I stand out because most of the school girls have small boobies at my club and I am a DD. So its a super slutty version and I get tons and tons of compliments all night long. So now I wear it all the time...who knew?! ahahah
While I am not a dancer, I do wear a bunch of fetish outfits.
I think most women look really good in the school girl outfit. For myself it helps hide my hips a bit, and makes what little I have on top stand out.
I also really like anything that has a corset look to it. And so any A-line dress is best for me :)
Don't forget shoes that match and are not all scuffed up. I see so many dancers with scuffed up shoes.
Finally, fake eyelashes make you look so much more wild. I normally buy two sets, and cut one set in half. That way I can use the cut half to make very wide and huge eyelashes for that extra exotic look.
The outfit makes the girl :)
This is my favorite aspect! Personally, I choose costumes which reflect my personality. I'm not a flashy girl, so I stay away from gowns and that sort of attire. I play up the fact that I'm young and this works for me. White stockings are my best money making accessory and they cost me a mere $5.00 for five pair - what is really cool about that is instead of giving away expensive g-string, I can sell one stocking at a time and really reap a profit. Other than that - with all the variety anyone can find something that accentuates their best ASS-ets!!!
I have a question? I have heard a couple girls wear some really short shorts, like denim shorts and a half shirt, giving them a more regular sexy girl appearance. I've never done this nor have I seen this. Does anyone here do this? If so how do you pull off this look?

I'm really glad you pointed me in the direction of Flirt Kobi. This is a great site! I wish they had more clothing...Ok ladies..tell me what you think about this outfit.

sorry bout that, the link won't come up..it wont let "ts_id=241" come up in the link. So for future ref..I was talking about the "Cats Meow" it's in the Catsuit section.
Cinammonkisses, I went and looked at it and I don't know how easy that would be to get in and out of on stage but if you can pull it off, more power to ya. I thought it was cute though I couldn't do it on stage.

It's called "shock value"; ie, someone who doesn't look like a stripper who starts stripping is inherently more sexy and naughty than someone who is wearing a bikini and a sheer slip of fabric doing the same. Guys suddenly start seeing loads of skin and the sight is quite titillating, whereas they have seen loads of BikiniGirl's skin all night long.
Myself and another gal in my club utilize this. It's essentially playing with their minds. I put my hair up in a bun and wear a Chinese cheongsam, slit all the way up to my ass but otherwise covering everything from the neck down. When I finally hit the front stage, the dress comes off to reveal a tiny thong and a bra, the hair is let down and guys instantly start to bug out. You can positively SEE them drool.
The downside to working "shock value" is that it is harder to hustle when you don't look like a stripper.
WOW! That chick modelling the cat's meow has a figure to die for! And I love that outfit - it doesn't look hard to strip outta! Just don't get your stiletto heels stuck in the gaps!! lol! :)
I have one money maker in particular. It's a black cut out catsuit from Hey Baby, with rhinestones studded all over. The shit is so hot because none of the other dancers at my club has it! ;D I paid $115 for it and I make double or even triple in this outfit. That's why I try to wear it either every other Friday or Saturday night. :-*
I think costumes do make a difference, but are not the bottom line. Its like going into the store- some people wander in to a store they have never heard of just out of curiousity and some people go into a store because of namesake and reputation. We are walking new stores, with the exception of regulars, and have no reputation or advantageous namesake therefore our window display has to be eyecatching to get people interested in the walking new store.
Once you get someone into your store you can sell them almost anything, but you usually only get one chance to draw their attention and keep it before another walking new store goes by. Pick an outfit that makes you stand out in a good way or accentuates all of your best features or attributes. My strategy is to dress differently from everyone else. If they're doing black I'm doing neon. If everybody is showing it all maybe I'll cover all up at least for my first stage set like a floor length gown.
I purchase from all the major sellers like Tonys, Roma, Top Rock, DI and smaller sellers, ebay and the like but I never buy the most typical dancer outfits in the most stocked colors that I know other girls will have. This has led to me never having the same outfits as another dancer in any club I have ever worked in. I hate it when two girls will wear the same outfit in the same nite b/c they both call it their money outfit and won't just agree to either both change or someone else wear it first and then someone wear it later in the nite. It doesn't matter in a mega club even it still looks dumb, but in smaller clubs it is ridiculous for two girls who look similarly to wear the exact same outfit at the same time.
I have an awesome money making outfit. I got it from a store called erotic cabaret. It's a catsuit...black with silver glitter. The ass is cut out in s spider dsesign and kinda hangs out. The bottom flares out. Can't describe it much better than that.
I have that costume! Is it made by Sexxy Brazil?
Erotic Cabaret is the shiiiiiiite!!!! A must stop-in when in H-town. Although buying online is cheaper, actually trying the costume on in the store is often soooo worth it!!
Men's suit-coat, tie(loosely done) and a man's hat!
Gives the illusion that you just woke up in his clothes, or are playing around in an environment where he took them off with you there...i have yet to get this outfit..just remembered a gal who did this years ago, and guys went nuts!!!
I've never really been into the whole costuming thing. But hey, if it works for you ladies, more power to ya. I have a question though. What is up with this petticoat costume. It's like a maywest type frilly skirt, with ruffles all under the skirt. I saw this girl where it at the club, and I thought it looked aweful. Has anyone else seen such a thing?
Yeah - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=11556Quote:

Ebay sells tons of them for dancers. I have a netted skirt kinda similar to that which I'm altering to make shorter in length and more puffy for table dancing. I guess you have to have the right kind of look for it or you can come off as a character in a nursery rhyme gone bad. I want to team up my skirt with straps so I can create a dolly look for fantasy hour.
Kobi--I have the same one (from Sexxy Brazil).Quote:

I like it and I make money, but what do you do onstage?
It is somewhat difficult to take off in a graceful manner....
