Complete Newbie - Lingerie Modelling
Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping I can get a few pointers in the right direction.
I've been thinking about getting into adult entertainment for some time, problem is, although I'm confident enough to do one on entertainment, I'm not confident enough to dance.
So I'm thinking about lingerie modelling.
I'd also like to do it on a cash basis.
I know that establishments are required to keep ID records of age (understandable), but I was wondering if, being a complete newbie, I've got my head up my ass and cash jobs won't be a possibility.
Any input would be really helpful.
Thanks for taking the time to read :)

Re: Complete Newbie - Lingerie Modelling
I did it for a short while. I'm not in Fl, but I think these places work more or less the same.
The guy has to buy either a $50 gift certificate or $50 worth of lingerie. For that he gets a complimentary lingerie modeling in a private room (about 20 min). Technically, you can't get naked, can't ask for tips, or name the amount. It's a room with a chair and a small podium, on which you have to stay all the time. There's music, and a sign on a table that says something like tips are appreciated. Since you can't say anything about money, sometimes you end up dancing for free, as some assholes take advantage of it. You really have to get creative. Oh, yeah, and the guy jerks off while there. That's the whole point of them showing up. But majority does tip well, so you can make a lot of money. A lot of girls bend the rules in there and risk being arrested or fired. Oh, and you get paid $5/hr in addition, as a store employee and do the whole register/stock thing. Good thing there's usually not much competition on any given shift, unlike at a club. It's easier and harder than the club at the same time. I left because the owner was an ass, and because a customer took his clothes off, lay on the floor all naked, and demanded I give him a blowjob for $10 ("well, others are doing it!"). I just stepped over him and that was that. Now I'm thinking, what a waste of a nice sharp heel, lol!
Re: Complete Newbie - Lingerie Modelling
i worked in a few outside the sarasota area a few years back - nothing i'm too proud of by any means - but the ones i worked in either the guy jerks off while you dance on an itty bitty stage and he tips you as he wants more clothes taken off OR they were complete whorehouses - the shit that would go on in there would make your skin crawl - i lasted about 2 days - my friend however owns one of those business's and they are always busy that's for sure! just know that 9 times out of 10 it is NOT just modeling lingerie.
Re: Complete Newbie - Lingerie Modelling
Thanks everyone, for the replies.
Even though I haven't done it before, I'm not naive ;o)
Keep 'em coming, it's not exactly the kind of thing you can ask your mom..lol.
Re:Complete Newbie - Lingerie Modelling
I have been a photographer/videographer for years...seen it all
also building a site called MakeItSexy.com - what exactly it will become we dont know because each model will run her own show.
As far as photo/video work (which we also do) here are some tips:
If it doesnt feel right at all, DONT GO and NEVER GO to a first session alone, if you must be alone make the photographer meet you somewhere neutral first
NEVER do anything like bondage, etc with someone you don't know and ONLY work with an incorporated firm...never "just a guy that sells porn" - that translates to "smart guy found easy way to get laid"
I usually do my shoots at the model's location (I have a studio but think she will feel safer on "her turf" or a hotel than my big old house with thick walls). I expect and invite her to bring a friend or two...to sit in the next room or in the studio at her option. Everything is in writing..and she leaves with a CD of all her images (I keep one for my records as well)
I do REQUIRE (*and wonder about any photog that does not*) 2 forms of age identification, one with picture. And if you will be doing any sex on camera (with talent you provide or otherwise) then I need current STD tests on all parties and a disclaimer of liability.
Yea, im a little over the top on security...but in this business you can't be too careful
Be careful and keep in touch
