Question for the audience
I really enjoy doing bachelor parties and the like, and I'm racking my brain trying to come up with some new ideas - we do the whipped cream races, body paint, bath shows, etc, but I wanted to ask the guys (and gals too) what your favorite special act is. What's the most fun thing you've seen a dancer do at a party? What's your favorite thing to see (besides girl-on-girl action; got that covered)? What would you really like to see? Thanks for letting me ask.
Re: Question for the audience
My husband is a manager here at a local club in Alaska, and one girl did a fire show. She took some sticks, like broom sized dowel rods, cut to about 12 - 18 inches in length, wrapped the ends in guaze, I believe & soaked them in rubbing alcohol. After thouroughly saturated, they were lit, she got naked, club went black and she did her show. The club has stage cameras with monitors in front of tip rail and at the back wall of the stage, so it looked great. The flames were usually a nice blue color.
Re: Question for the audience
Dressing skimpy (say bikini to start) in a cat print, on your hands and knees walking with your back arched up to a kiddie pool ful of milk, to lap some first, then roll around in. Jello has the same affect. Always sitting in a BOX,( not cake thats expected) he thinks it may be a present. (appliance.) Opens it up and you are there with a bow on your head! Music goes on you slowly start dancing out of it. The smaller box the better. Body shots are fun letting the guys drink off your belly button. Mud wrestling, it taked a little effort, but a smaller wodden box type thing can be made with 4 corners, and filled quickly. Guys love to watch that! Ripping each others clothes off!
Just some ideas to toss your way. Pamela
Re: Question for the audience
PLEASE don't just pick up anything you have laying around and light it on fire! You need special wicking, certain types of gas/alcohol for lighting, and lots of practice before you're ready to work with fire. If there's a juggling store in you area, they are a good resource for supplies and perhaps lessons. But don't think 'oooh, fire, neato!' and jump onstage. You're likely to burn the whole place down.
Re: Question for the audience
Very true Orchid, i am not into fire shows. Or do not even want to be near them. Pamela
