Seraya.
good luck girl!!!!...
Congratulations and good luck soybeangirl!
:great: :graduate:
Thanks you guys!!!! I am studying interior and industrial design. I want to design hotels, boutiques, theatres. That kind of thing.
I had a GREAT first day of school. I love it. I have to go get all these drafting supplies and books! I have never been so happy about standing in line to pay for BOOKS!
Thanks again for the encouragement. Good luck to you Prester John and Cash!
Carols..... your avatar is HYSTERICAL!
I'm glad your so enthusiastic. Good for you. Now if only I could have your attitude. I'll get through it though. I'm not giving myself any other choice.
Good luck Soy, I'm sure you will do well.
To hopefully encourage you a little, I went back to school after being away for 4 years (I was in the military), and then again after 3 years to finally finish my degree. I loved every minute of it, and while there were times when it was tough, I did very well and I found it to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
There will probably be times when your work load seems unbearable; at those times, you just have to bear down and see yourself through it. It will all be worth it in the end.
Woohoo!!!
I think having some time away from school and living in the real world helps you appreciate school more - where else do you get to be all intellectual and focus on your own mind? I love it!

Congrats Soybeangirl!
As others have said, it's gonna be both fun and hard. But dancing is perhaps the most conveniant job to have while in school; you set your own schedule, make money, and have time to study. Good luck ;D
Am I the only one who finds school tedious and scary? :)
Go get that degree... wished my family supported me to get a collage education... but that is OK, Hubby has the big diploma on the wall... :)
Soy designing hotels is easy. Start with bad pictures from Kmart. Add cheap carpet from Home Depot and top it off with a nice contrasting Martha Stewart bed spread, then let it stew for 6 months and you have a Holiday Inn.
Goodluck Soybean! Make sure you find plenty of time to study. College isn't hard...you just have to FOCUS!
Good luck!
Thank you so much you guys! I had my second day today. My Professors are all pretty cool. The sucky part is... all but one of them is a woman. Damnit... I only know how to manipulate men! Heehee. Just kidding, of course! Anyway so-far-so-good. I'll keep you posted! YAY FOR ME THE COLLEGE GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats soy this mean you are not comeing to Ga?
:monkeedance: Good for you! Get that degree!
Hey go girl! I just read this thread - grrrrrreat for you!
I didn't start college until I was 25 - it was actually a good thing for me that I waited. You tend to appreciate it more and do better with it when you wait a bit. All the best!
Oh no Avg. Guy, I'm still coming to GA. It will be a week or so, though. I gotta find a club with some flexibility regarding schedule, you know??
Good job girlie. My baby's growing up..I'm so proud of you :yay: (just incase you havent heard that!!)
Cool just checking good luck at school.
