I know this has been discussed before, but what color lights are best for hiding stretch marks? I'd like to give my owner some information of how different color lights can accentuate or disguise certain aspects of one's body. For instance, I'm sure some lights are better suited for pale skin and some for tan skin. Are some better for black or latino dancers? Asian? Are some lights better at hiding cellulite? My concern- stretch marks?
We have a good light program that has probably a hundred different light patterns, but our owner was unhappy with a lot of the girls choosing "dark" lights and not being visible on stage. Most of the "dark" light sets are blue and white, so he has told the DJs "no blue and white lights". This is devastating to me. I don't care how bright my lights are, but I think I look best under blue and white lights, whereas red and yellow really seem to highlight my stretch marks. I know we have bright blue and white lights, it's just that no one really used them before. So I'd like to approach him and ask if any of the blue and whites are bright enough and explain why I am concerned about the color of the lights. So any info anyone has about lighting would be appreciated.
I don't know if I am overreating or what, but my confidence is very dependent on the lights and I want my blue and white back. :'(
