Re:Watch TV and Go Into Debt
I went for years with out owning a tv. When I bought a TV it definately helped me with my alcohol problem. I guess that I just substituted one addiction for another.
I will admit that I am totally addicted to TV. I think that there are a lot of good programs on TV and I would never go back to no TV at all. I have been thinking about cutting down my TV viewing pretty dramatically.
You have given me that extra nudge that I needed. Thank you Ryan.
Re:Watch TV and Go Into Debt
i learn a lot from tv, i watch discovery and the history channal all the time. oh and tech tv too, but that prolly dons't help with the spending thing as it just shows you new gadgets to buy (like the wireless internet I am useing on this laptop right now). that aside.. my problem is the internet. all the internet is anymore is a big commercial/billboard with a few oasises like this one.
I leave the tv on for noise most of the time. I watch simspsons and that 70's show. no glamours lifestyle there. :) I also like the shows about breast reduction and how the brain works, intresting things in history (not wars), and anything educatioal about sex.
and I did start school at 2. 3 years of preschool (hey we did learn there), kindergarden, 1-12th, and a year of collage. 17 years of school before I was 20.
