PSO Biz Question???
For those who cannot shell out the cash for marketing and advertising isn't there also the option of contracting with a large dispatch service as a pso management company? That way your only responsibilities are hiring training and paying the staff that you contract to take the calls. The dispatch company would bear the expense of advertising and promoting.
Is there anyone here who can offer some advice on the steps to take?I have asked around and apparently it is a closely guarded secret.lol.Maybe the company owners that do not use a dispatch service can shed some light on this.

Re:PSO Biz Question???
Pamela will know you can PM her or wait for her respond here..... I work for a PS company in London and they do all the advertising ect... all i do is log on to the call system and take calls but i'm still considered self-employed. I'm sure they have companies like this in the states.

Re:PSO Biz Question???
And it is a different kind of deal. What you want to do is run under the name of a company as a PSO yourself, they set you your own page, pictures etc. but you still are an IC for them? Or are you asking to work as a PSO? Do you want to train PSO's and hire/fire.
I don't really understand. But yes some companies do all the above.
I just need more info.

Re:PSO Biz Question???
I am sorry pamela. I am really ignorant to this whole thing. What is an IC? I have been reading up about starting a PSO business. What I have learned is that you need your own 1800 number, software, website, promoting. All which takes alot of money to get started. I was thinking if there is a way to get setup with with a large dispatch company. You hire the PSO's which work for you but they get calls from the dispatch company. I would take a percentage of the pay the dispatch company would pay the pso's. It just an idea I have been thinking of. I tried to email some top PSO company's but it seems to be top secret. Keen has a way to setup a business like that. I however don't want to use them because it's easy for a girl to set herself on keen without having to pay for someone. Plus I wouldn't take a business seriously if they used keen.

Re:PSO Biz Question???
Yes Keen and Siren phone work together. You may want to try emailing Siren. They are in partrnership. Ok i see your not interested in Keen, sorry. Sure companies do this, but first who is going to run the credit cards? Them, if so if they do all the work they will take a HUGE amount of money.
OK your talking recruiting other girls to work for the Dispatch co. while you work there? And getting a cut from each girl you bring in?
Sorry there are many ways this can go. I worked for a co. and actually trained girls on the phone, using their lines to "roleplay" and have a girl sit in on an actual call i took, she just would listen. I would be working for the company, but get paid to train other newbies on various calls, as well as my pay for the call directed to me. IC = Independent Contractor.
Hmmm so the girls will be working for you now it seems, but using the companies system? Wow, you wont make much, unless you became partners with a company looking for someone to do what you want.
Lots of companies advertise for a dispatcher, (not easy) and then a "new" comapny may need a partner, that way you have girls working under you, sometimes. Companies are afraid of "kickbacks" (a charge back) so they pick people based on a client following or lots of experience.
But a few companies do some of the above.
Sorry if this is confusing, but you may have a hard time getting in, PSO companies may talk crap about another company, but beleive me they (most) come together for the yearly Web master gathering.
What you may need to do is find a "new" company who will gladly take you on. The older companies have much needed help, and wont let you use their services....Usually.
Hope this makes sense. I am trying to remember the companies that may do this.
