drugs and the stripper's body
For anyone taking or about to take a class of drugs known as SSRIs be warned that they cAn make you sleepy and cause you to get fat. These meds are used for post partum depression, seasonal affective disorder ocd, and depression in general. For anyone with ADD/ADHD those meds can be great but they can cause weight loss , a problem if your already thin or if your not tone enough. There is an alternative -Amino acids, esp. 5-HTP and HGH (great for body builders or someone who would like a little more definition on the body, also MSM which is a supplement used to help build cartilage is also great for your skin, my complexion is great after having used it only a few weeks, that and plenty of sleep and lots of water.
I hope this will help someone...
don't forget your vitamins :10:
Re:drugs and the stripper's body
The problem with 5htp is that the antidepressant effects that it produces will actually fade after a few days of use. It is often necessary to supplement 5htp at a different time of day with a low dose of amino acid L-tyrosene to raise norepinephrine levels.
MSM, though I take it with chrondroiton additives for my knees, which like alot of dancer, are painful and swollen. Although I believe in the healing power of it, no studies have ever confirmed the claims.
Thank you for maikng this post, it is actually a great idea!!
Re:drugs and the stripper's body
I have taken Paxil for years and I noticed I look much younger when I take it. My skin is plumper and clearer and my eyes are brighter. Sometimes when I run out I can see the difference because I look dull and tired.
Maybe being calm and relaxed helps too. Less stress equals less wrinkles and a happy person probably looks healthier and younger.
I love my :chillpill: 's
Re:drugs and the stripper's body
The reason for that is that Paroxetine or brand named Paxil, is whats called a "selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor". Which simply stated means that it interferes with the transporting of serotonin in your body.
Serotonin is part of the serotoninergic system, which modulates mood, emotion, sleep and appetite.
Paroxetine works similarly to 5htp in that aspect. So taking 5htp on top of Paxil is not recommended.
The reason you can see a difference is only because when emotions, mood are balanced along with sleeping and appetite, its like a balanced "healthy glow".
