Stage shows...
How many times a shift do you guys have to go on stage? And do you get paid?
At my current club in Melbourne, Australia I usually do anywhere from 2-4 20min podiums in an 8 hour shift which are not paid but if you do a feature show (normally 1-3 per week) you get paid $50-$70 which actually just gets credited to your house fees.
The last club I worked at in Toronto you were lucky to get 1 3 song show and for that you were given $10 back from your DJ fee at the end of the shift.
Just curious?? :)

Re:Stage shows...
The other dancers and I rotate and do a two song set. It all depends on the night, but I dance on stage once every hour or less. It helps break up the night and I love all the eyes in the room being on me. It kinda sounds like all you do is dance on stage, but the clubs in Kansas are all about making the tips and doing table dances on the floor.

Re:Stage shows...
ANywhere from 20-100 gilrs work in my club at a given time. If there are few I might get up 2-3 times for a 4-5 song set. If there are alot I'll just get up once --twice if I tip the d.j. extra- for a 3 song set. At this club the guys like to show off their money so it's common to have the "big ballers" throw hundreds of ones on the stage a t a time. I don't attract the showy ballers for the most part so use the stage to get attention from guys that may not see me if the club is super packed. I can generally work my way into the V.I.P after a stage set.
Once every few weeks we get rappers or ball players that come in and they may toss a large amount on the stage to me, butI think I'm the only chick at my club that just uses the stage to get dances or V.I.P's after I get down, so I do't mind not making a ton up there...in fact I'll even get naked for free. I look at it as advertising and marketing...
If you get on the stage you must tip the d.j a minimum of $10 per night and if you refuse your set (esp. at the last minute) then you must pay $20
