charging for cyber/webcam
Ok, I was in a chat room the other day and had a ton of guys asking to cyber or do stuff on a webcam. One guy mentioned that he had heard of girls charging for this. For example, a guy would want to see a girl masturbate w/ a dildo and she'd direct them to deposit $20 in her paypal account and then she would do it. My first question about this is, of course, is it legal? I live in NY and I was just wondering if this counts as some sort of prositution or solicitation. Also, the chat site I was on was NOT designated as an adult/sex chat just a regular old chat room like on Yahoo or whatever. Is that allowed? Third question, assuming it is legal and you can do such a thing on a site like that, how would one go about getting "clients", what would you charge, etc? I know that I was just sitting there not saying anything and guys were approching ME about this sort of thing. Don't know about the payment part though. Anyone got any light to shed on this? I wouldn't be totally opposed to doing something like this--it's flexible (I can get on and do it whenever I want) and it's quick easy cash ($20 to do a little fingering etc seems reasonable enough to me)--but then again, I don't know anything about this so any info you guys have would be helpful. I know that there are specific sites that are specifically designed for this type of thing but my biggest concern would be the competition there (I'm not that good looking and you need something "special" to offer a lot of times on those site). I feel like a regular chat room would attract a different kind of guy--one not necessarily expecting to pay money but who might if asked. What do you think?
Re:charging for cyber/webcam
One huge concern about Yahoo cams is "underage" people. You don't know who is of age. And if they send you money i was told i could get in trouble with a minor. These days adult sites want proof of age with a credit card. In a wide open chat room you never know who is sending you $$. Also read Yahoo's rules, even for adult chat.
I used to get hit up for a show with money all the time, but i have stopped. Now i do cam2cam with friends, and get paid. If i can't see the person i know, i will not do it.
And i was taking paypal, and got screwed once. long story. I hate paypal.
Money orders, are good. But they wait until you get it,and it takes trust.
It's iffy, but i have done it, and was told that if they want to come down on me they will. No proof of the age of the person paying for a cam show.
It is not prostitution. Even for money, or all the cam sites would not operate. But asking for money to do a show without a contract or proof of age is iffy again. Hun don't worry about the looks, if they are willing to pay you $20 for a short show (i would hope short) they are as well seeing others out there for free, and on paid sites. Some paid sites are only 1.99 per minute.
Try they are cool, and cheap! Fix your own price. Make a profile, and..NO you don't need anything special. Some guys just wanna see pussy.

Good luck,
