i have to say that i agree with both sides of the argument ...topaz its true that racism still exist as there are lots of people who don't think that black skin is beautiful ...its not only some white who think this but other people of other races even the black race.. it is sad that black skin tone is not accepted the same way white skin is but but there is nothing we can do about that ...so happen that we have to work harder and go through more bullshit .....also wether you all want to believe it or not that bullshit about reaching a quota all goes back to racism....point blank ...but its their clubs and its their rules not getting hired doesnt mean that you are ugly just mean that you have to keep trying ...you can't let what these people say get to you .....i have worked in a mostly "white clubs" and i've never really had to deal with this crap maybe its because i'm lucky ...i dunno... but most of my customers if not all are white .....there are alot of guys who like black girl ...but are afraid of admitting it because of fear of what society might think of them .....this has happened in my family where my grandfather refused to be seen with his ex because she was darker and it was just unacptable to his cuban side of the family to be with a dark skin person ....best thing i can tell you to do is to love yourself take the best care of you and keep trying ...fortunately i have never had to deal with this crap but sh*t happens move on ...i'm sure if you keep trying you will get hired.. there are alot of clubs here in nyc for you to try out ...you cant change their prefrences if have only 5 colored girls and 90 white girls work for them then that what works there is nothing you can do about it ............
