stuck which club i should work.. somebody help!!
hi everybody! I've been working at Centerfolds in San Francisco (on broadway owned by deajvu.. yuck..) for about 6 months. Ever since new years.. its been really bad.. business wise.. i used to make at least $300 up to close to $1k during the day shift. Now.. I'm lucky if i make $100..
I auditioned and got hired at crazy horse in san francisco. my boyfriend doesnt want me to work there. he prefers me to work at centerfolds cuz he has friends that go to crazy horse. at centerfolds.. they dont like asian girls.. (im japanese.. pure) but at crazy horse.. most of the girls are asian so i think i can do better there.. at centerfolds.. its mainly white girls.. and the customers come mainly for blondes..
what do you guys think? what should i do? listen to my boyfriend and do what i am told and stick with centerfolds?
I worked at MSC (that was the worst).. i didnt like gold club and hustler club in san francisco. I am probably going to try Mitchell Brothers Ofarrell Theatre but the management doesnt like asian girls either..
what should i do? where should i work? anything will help.. feel free to reply.. thanks

Since it's been 6 months, your newbie status is probably wearing off and that explains the drop in earnings. I think you can keep trying other clubs, but eventually the same thing will happen if you don't build up regulars. Crazy horse has a lot of asians, but you'll now be one of many asians -- small fish in a big pond.
I don't buy the "white girls/white clubs" line at all. Take me for example. I work at a club that has only 3 asians out of 60 dancers. Business for me has always been good(in relation to my club's potential earnings) and it keeps getting better. This business is mostly about personality then looks, especially at the clubs you've worked at. Glamazon is a good example of a classy winning personality at the Hustler.
As for MBOT, if you're not comfortable with what really goes on there, you're not going to make it there, especially with the $300+ stage fee. I don't think they hate asians because at least 10% of the dancers there are asian.

The owner at Crazy Horse is the one that likes all white girls and blondes. I went there 3 years ago and got turned away being black.

Tina,
I think you've got the clubs mixed up. The Crazy horse in San Francisco has about 40% asian dancers I heard. The former owner had a thing for asians, so he hired as many as he could while he owned the club.
