Traveling With Stripper Gear On Planes?
So unexpectedly I might be going out of town and I thought I would take my stripper gear along and find a club and work a couple nights while I'm there. But I've never traveled anywhere by plane (with stripper gear) and I was wondering if I should keep it with me on the plane or should I check it? I'd feel safer having it on the plane with me though. And has anyone ever had any trouble with airport officials checking your bag and giving you shit?
Just want to be prepared if I go, thanx.
Shayden

Yeah, I could tell from your avatar you are definately a threat to national security! :rotfl:
I'm surprised those horney security guards didn't take you out and have you "strip-searched".
<coookie pretends he's a security guard for a flight full of strippers> :stop:

I was at the airport in line behind this buzzard the other day who wanted to take two bags on board. Each bag had a dead squirrel in it. They made him check one of them cause they only allow one carrion per passanger.
Re:Traveling With Stripper Gear On Planes?
OMG Francesca that is totally unbelievable !! What nerve..
Anyway Shayden, I always check-in most of my dancer gear and carry on a couple dresses and a pair of heels.
The airline lost my bag before and I couldn't work for one night. I ended up just buying a couple new outfits and a pair of shoes until they were able to locate it. Which took 3 days.

Re:Traveling With Stripper Gear On Planes?
I get hassled every single time I have to go through the X-Ray machine and metal detector. It seems that since the episode of "nip and tuck" was televised where south americans were using girls with big breast implants to smuggle in liquified coke, that the security guards now figure that I must be smuggling something inside my bra !
The last time it happened I was running really late, and could see the security guards looking at each other while I walked through the metal detector. When they started in on me, I just flipped up my blouse, showed them my tits, and said "nothing here that wasn't made in the USA, boys" - they stammered a bit and said "yes maam, we can see that ! go right on through !"
Re:Traveling With Stripper Gear On Planes?
mel.. i would be pissed if they did that to me!!!
But you handled it well!!! LOL
i ALWAYS get searched, i wonder if it has to do with buying tickets over the internet. Because my mom always gets searched as well.
Re:Traveling With Stripper Gear On Planes?
I never take risks at airports now since 9/11 - I figure that if anything is remotely suspicious, to take it as hand luggage so I can be questioned before I board, or at least take it to check in first to get advice as to wether things are going to create concern.
I have a large bazooka type gun I bought in Australia and wanted to take home, and even though it was obviously a kids water pistol thing, they got funny about it.
Also got some fun furry handcuffs for my 007 set which I took through in my carry on, in case of a problem. There was, and they made me empty my bags (in front of Mum and dad :-[) with all my boy stripper stuff (cockrings, a metal mask, other s & m looking gear).
I wear New Rock boots (in my shows and casually) and these make some airport security staff go nuts. They do set the alarms off because of all the metal in them, but one Australian Security officer explained to me that if I could get through Chek Lap Kok (Hong Kong) airport wearing those, I could get through with a rifle. ???Go figure.

i get searched...along with my bags everytime i go places. after a while, i get aggravated about it. having a woman pushing on the wire in my bra to make sure that is what it is...gets a little old. and that was in a tiny tiny airport in Lafayette, LA.....i was not a happy camper.

They only allow you one carry on anymore, and you probably want that bag within your reach on the plane (namely under the seat). I think you'll be okay checking everything else.
As far as being discreet, security will often X-ray the baggage right there at check in before you even step up to the ticket counter. I wouldn't worry, they've probably seen a hell of lot weirder stuff than stripper gear. Don't bother locking your checked bags unless you have a TSA approved lock because they may have open your luggage. Here are some tips:

I would check your airline's website or the TSA website for more information.
Re:Traveling With Stripper Gear On Planes?
I've never had a problem w/ extra security. They either let me straight through or they keep me an extra 10 min or so. BUT everytim eI bring nail polish or remover in my carryon it breaks and spills. After the 3rd time in 3 different carryons I just find a Saks or Sephora where I'm headed and buy it there..
Re:Traveling With Stripper Gear On Planes?
Well since my bf er X now is a pilot we would fly alot on "buddy passes". Since they were the Buddy pass (which is a really cheap ticket I get from his dad which is also an airline pilot=great benifits for me like first class for 120 dollars round trip First Class ) it was mandatory to be searched every time! :boggled: I always HATED it (like who doesn't) and half of the time if I'd flirt a little I'd get through with out being searched. :flirt: Some times I would give my carry on stripper bag to my x so I knew they wouldn't hassel him. A few times it went through the xray machine they would stop and ask what was metal in my bag. It turned out that it was the metal rod in the heel of my stripper shoe. So I'd carry on different heels just to make it easier if you do carry on with your bag. :-*
