Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
Ladies, I am getting my BA in April. I'm a B looking to go to a small D cup. I have talked to 3 women who had theirs done and all have said that they wish they went larger (all 3 were A-B to large C cup). Can you confirm/deny. I want to get them done once and not have to second guess myself!! Thanks ladies!

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
yes, I basically wasted my money listening to my plastic surgeon's advice on what would be a "good size" of implant for my first surgery. I wound up going back into surgery ASAP for a second set of larger implants (after spending another $4,000 of course).

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
Personally I dislike augmentation and generally aviod girls who have had implants. Just one customer's opinion.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I go back and forth on implants all the time. Sometimes I want them. Sometimes I don't. And those times during which I do want them, sometimes I want a modest increase to keep them looking natural, and the other times I want a substantial increase to make the most of my investment (because I wouldn't be getting implants for any other reason!)

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I was a natural 34B and augmented with 300cc textured silicone implants, over the muscle to a full 36C. Initially, I was slightly disappointed and wished I had gone up to a full D-cup,instead. However, my boob job is superb: The implants are not detectable by touch, feel, etc., and the size is ideal -- Men generally think they're real and my income increased substantially as a result. Furthermore, at a 36C, my boobs add a sexy voluptuousness which elicits plenty of compliments and little,if any negative attention.
It is my personal opinion that larger breasts look somewhat unsophisticated -- I don't know about you, but my goal is NOT to look like a porn star or stripper --rather,it's to have classic good looks, if possible. Large implants achieve a distinctly un-classic look which is frowned upon by the top clubs, and generally, the more educated/wealthier customers -- Yet another reason to stick to subtle enhancements, rather than blatant surgical alterations :D

Juliet, I agree with you entirely that a dancer who is in the Scores/Penthouse Exec Club league does face different issues than dancers in "regular" clubs - particularly in regard to the pros and cons of breast implants and in choosing a large size. As you said, these clubowners and the upscale club clientele have very high standards, and are very particular about the "class factor" of the dancers they hire.
However, in hundreds of "regular" clubs, the expectations of the clubowners and clientele are very different from the super-upscale Scores/PEC league. In "regular" clubs, getting large breast implants can make a girl the 'big fish in a small pond' for a significant percentage of customers. In very large clubs, getting large breast implants can attract significantly more business simply by being able to draw a potential customer's eye from across the room and make a lasting first impression. The acceptability of really large breast implants also varies tremendously in different parts of the country, and for that matter the world.
As always, it's best to evaluate the pros and cons as it pertains to each dancer's own work situation.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I went from a small 34B to a 34DD. Now I am 6'0" so it fits me and is proportionate to my body. My Dr. did say not to go too large though because they would look funny. I went as big as I wanted to go. I sometimes look at them and wish I went bigger, then realize they are plenty big enough for me. So yeah, I have the moments, but I am very happy with how they look.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
My ATF who no longer dances but is my closest friend is very small breasted, probably an A cup. Many of her customers tried to talk her into augmentation, some even offered to pay for it, but she refused and now she is so glad she did. All her friends envy her because she never has to wear a bra. She's very much into health and fitness and much prefers the natural look. So do I. She also made tons of money dancing because she has a great smile and personality, and that's what really counts. Implants won't increase your earnings and they won't improve your self esteem, but they could cause you health problems down the road.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
welll fondl thats great for you and her. but for every one( VERY FEW) guy that prefers small breats there are 10 others that do prefer big ones. i made good money with my tiny boobs, but my earnings tripled when i went to a full D.
as for wishing i went bigger, most of the time i do wish i went to a DD but they look and feel so natural i'm afraid to mess with them.

Sorry there buddy, but mine did improve my self esteem. So don't sit there and think you know what will effect who's self esteem. You can go off of your friend... and that is great for her that her size works for her. Don't judge and group those of us who do have implants by saying things that you don't know if they are correct or not.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I am about to get my forth set of implants so obviously I wish I had gone larger everytime. the first time I was totally unhappy because I only went up to a c cup and the second I went up to 425 ccs which did nothing as well, now I am up to 710 cc's and even though I am only a size 4, I am 5 '8 " and of a body type which gives me the ability to carry very large breasts. Some women of my height look rediculous even with the size I have but when I am wearing a looser style shirt of even a sweatshirt, people say that they cant even tell I have implants. Breast size has more to do with body type than with cc's. 500 cc's on one woman can look too big while on another look too small. My advice is try to go a little big bigger than you think you want initially because when you first get them done, just having them as new foreign bodies will make them seem huge, but after a few weeks the majority of women wish they had gone a bit larger. A second surgery costs money so go a big bigger than you expect to the first time and you will be better off.

See, if I didn't dance, I wouldn't even consider it. Since she no longer dances, she probably will benefit from a BA very little, so I'm guessing that's why she's glad she didn't do it.
Absolutely a great smile (really, I think face) and personality are more important than breast size, but you can't deny that they will make you more money. I know this doesn't seem right to you. But with implants, we're talking about a visual fantasy. They aren't meant to be fondled like you would to your girlfriend.
I think it's similar to big cocks in men. They are very cool to look at. I prefer seeing them in porn. In my bed, I like a medium size one because the huge ones are just don't feel good 8)

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I will pretty much say just about what everybody else said... I sometimes wish I went bigger and then other times I feel it is not necessary.
I was a bit smaller then an 36A, I went to the Doc. of my choice and he suggested what he thought would be best for me. He went through the armpit and under the muscle, I was impressed, well at least for the first couple of weeks, and when the swelling started to go down I started to second guess myself. I am now about an average 36C. It will be three years since the surgery on March 13 (yay boobie b-day!), and I still enjoy them, even with the small doubt of size. So when I start to think I should have gone bigger I just get my before and after pics out and it reassures me.
So if I can give any advise, take before and after pics!
Good luck and happy recovery!

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
Thanks everyone! Your insight is especially helpful. I feel like a kid in the candy store, browsing through pictures of beautiful large breasts (natural or not)! It's like "oh wow, those could be me!" I can't wait to be celebrating my 1st "Boobie B-Day" Fantastic!!! :)

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I go tmy BA when I was 19 & didn't even think of dancing until 2 yrs later. I was an A and now I am a full C, but sometimes I wish I were a little bit bigger, like a small D. But I don't have another $5k+ to spend on another surgery right now. Plus they can be played up or down anyway, depending on the shirt & bra I wear, so it wouldn't be a big deal to me if I didn't dance however.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I thought about getting a BA for the first time way before stripping. It was when my then-boyfriend said he thought my tits were a great shape just not big enough. It was the first time I realized I was too flat for some men. It sucked. I got over it.
At this age I'm not too keen on any non-mandatory surgery! I'm happy for my shaky good health, such as it is, and don't want to tamper with it. I want to stay faaar away from the doctor's knife and will gladly sacrafice any amount of potential earnings to do that.
Of course, I know that wasn't the question...just wanted to throw in my opinion.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
vanilla dog... I'm with you!
In Australian Bra sizes I'm a 12 A at best... I think I'm around 32cms in that area. I do belong to the "itty bitty titty committee". Whilst I would love to be able to have a decent set of :boobies: ... I'm quite happy to not go 'under the knife'... too much can go wrong, I don't want the hassle if anything does go wrong plus the twice yearly check ups and also ... what will I do with them once I finish dancing ???
I look at them just like a tattoo.. it is for life. I don't want to do something that I won't have use for in the rest of my life which will mainly consist of NOT dancing.
At the same time, if I was ever in a position where money wasn't a problem (enough passive income to cover any emergencies, etc)... I probably would think about it again. Think about whether I truely need them or I just want them... there *is* a difference.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I've thought of getting a BA many times, but haven't decided yet. I know I've wanted them before I started dancing and know I will want them after, I'm just afraid of the knife and risks of mistakes. I'm a 36C naturally, however, they look a whole lot smaller--- I have no clevage and broad shoulders. But I think that the shape and look of my breasts, despite the fact that they are unproportionate, are perfect. I'd want the boob job to make them look exactly the same exept be DD instead of C and I'm afraid of getting cockeyed nipples or extremely fake tits, so I still haven't decided.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
Yet another 2 cents into the arena... :)
First of all, breast enhancement usually (but not always) does help the self-esteem facter tremendously for most dancers. It is THIS reason why dancers start to earn more money dancing, not because they went from a B to a DD. From a guy's perspective, I hear things in clubs that most girls don't hear and probably rarely do. In spinte of what many think, most guys are really turned off by the pornstar huge breast look. If you are 5'4", and went from from a smaller size to a huge DD or larger, it's no longer sexy. Most guys will sit and laugh at girls like that and I see it all the time. Not to mention the fact that 99 times out of 100, when you start going up into those sizes it looks really really bad. Aside from the fact that they don't look natural at all, it actually is a big turn-off for many men. My advice to most dancers interested in getting a larger size is consider to go to a size that is nicely proportionate to your body, and then just a tiny bit larger. There hasn't been one time I've gone into a club and haven't felt pity for some dancer who had a horrible boob job because in her mind...the bigger the better and is 5'3", 120 pounds and has massive DD breats that look like balloons on her. It isn't sexy or alluring at all. Trust me on this, for every guy that is attracted to that look, there is another guy who isn't. You want to maximize your look in your club so you look sexy and attractive to everyone. A woman with a B-cup and the right attitude and skills will outperform and out earn a girl with fake DD breats any night of the week, so don't just equate implants with more money because it's not always a corrolation. There is a lot to be said for a beautiful woman with a C-cup, and a lot to be said for a woman with obviously fake DD breats...those two things being said are usually not the same thing though.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
My BA doc tried to get me to go bigger than what I had in mind, because he said nearly everyone wishes they had gone bigger. On his recommendation, I did go a tiny bit bigger but not as big as he suggested. We met half way.
I wanted a classy, natural look...I didn't want to look like a porn star. I am very pleased with my size, although I do think I could have gone the extra bit he wanted me to and I still would look natural like I do now. But I am in Juliet's camp where I want to be able to work in an upscale environment and not have giant breasts which are obviously implants. So it depends on where you plan to work and the look you are going for.
I like the size of mine, because they look natural, but I have the option of wearing a push-up bra and giving myself the appearance of a few more cup sizes (i.e. my avatar pic).
I had a customer say to me, "I LOVE to see a NATURAL girl!" I was thinking, well as long as you THINK they're natural I guess that's all that matters!

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I have normal bobbies and believe that a small implant will still look natural. I am into natural, not all big, hard, adn stretched looking.
Talk to as many surgens as you can afford to and see what they say will fit and look good on you. Too big and you will have trouble with every day activities and maybe get too much negative attention.
I don't think one can really go to small with an implant, but they can have a bad surgeon who doesn't do a good job making small look perfect.
I just don't know how to answer your question. It's all a matter of personal taste. I would go large C to small D.

GoldCoastGirl, where have you gotten this info? Is this common in Australia? I've never heard of such a thing in the US.
To answer the thread question, not really. But if I ever need a redo I will go slightly bigger.

Re:Breast Augmentation - Anyone wish they went bigger?
I really would like to know how valid this info is...twice yearly checkups for implants. Should my implants be inspected twice a year by my plastic surgeon?
