Toronto stripping
Hello;
I've been thinking about stripping for quite some time now but I am so new at this that I don't know where I should even start with my questions ... But I do have a few questions and I'm wondering if there's someone out there who works in Toronto (Canada) area that would be able to answer them for me.
1. What is the best club in Toronto if one's just starting out?
2. I'm 26, never done this before but I am very popular with men and have always been despite my small boobs. Am I too old to do this? Should I worry about my small breasts?
3. I've done some modelling and I am a really good dancer but is there anything that you would suggest I work on before auditioning? I can dance/walk in all kinds of shoes as I've been a part of fetish scene for a number of years but what sort of dancing moves should I practice?
4. Are the girls one works with usually friendly / helpful, etc? (I have a friend who's been dancing in Vancouver and she had some horror stories about being threatened and beaten up because the girls at her club were really competitive)
5. What is the worst and the best thing about stripping in general?
6. How many nights a week is it possible to work without going crazy when one's just starting out (assuming that one will start out if they're not too old for this)?
7. What are the dangers of stripping in Toronto?
8. Is it a good idea to establish a different sort of look (for example, I'm really into dominatrix-type of look, corsets and lace and leather thongs)?
I think these are all the basic questions I have so far. I am sorry if I sound naive and if I've pissed any of you off. I'm just really desperate to make money soon and I am very intrigued by the idea of dancing for living (for a while).
Thank you for reading this (and answering)

Re:Toronto stripping
Hey Jesse... I worked in Toronto for a couple of months last year (I am back in Australia now) and heres what I can tell you......
Everyone is different and every club is different so what you find good and how many nights you can handle will be entirely up to you I find between 2-4 is a good number. I worked at the Brass Rail downtown but it is very busy and very competitive so pretty hard for a newbie I would imagine but from my experiences is the 'cleanest' club. Alot of extras go on at certain clubs so just do your research, go into a few bars talk to some of the girls, get a feel for the place and see what you like. The good thing about Toronto is you can move around as much as you like and are not really stuck working at the one bar, dancers have alot of freedom there. But if you are just starting you might want to find a good club that pays a shift fee so you are guarenteed some money. Filmores downtown was good for that.... a smaller club, not too busy, not too much competition and the girls were quite friendly. Also Seductions in Etobicoke... shift pay is good and management is wonderful as were the girls. Once again not the busiest of places.
You are not too old to do this (I know ladies who are dancing at 35!) and don't worry about the breast thing. Auditions aren't common place in Toronto, and all the training is on the job so don't stress too much. Guys go for that awkward newbie look anyway. Don't worry to much about establishing a look, just do what you feel most comfortable with.
Like I mentioned there are some clubs that do alot of extras in Toronto and it can get a bit touchy feely which I don't like but you just have to know your limits and know how to handle the customers.
So all I can suggest is you get out there see some clubs talk to some girls. Oh you also need a license to dance it cost $180 and needs to be renewed in September everyear... you will be able to get all the details from one of the clubs.
Good Luck.
