Shaving!=(
Ok... I hate hair, I've been shaving my hair down there since it started sprouting...
I use $1 razors and shaving gel like every other day, it gets the job done... but i really want it to be in tip top shape... does anyone have any advice on a good razor, or any advice???

Re:Shaving!=(
FIrst....use a better razor. $1 razor= razor burn.
I use Venus and it works well...
After you get out of the shower...pat dry and cover entire area in womens underarm deoderant...(I perfrer Dove Soft Solid for silk protection of just-shaven skin.) It works well. That will prevent ugly red bumps.

Definitely a new razor. I have been using the Gillette Daisy for years; they work like a charm and won't break the bank.
Oh, and on the deodorant to prevent razor burn trick: make sure that it is a white solid or white soft solid. The gel, soft gel or spray deodorant will not work to prevent razor burn or redness.

Ughh I hate shaving too. I agree with the others - invest in a good razor. I cringe everytime I buy refills cause they aren't cheap, but it really is the best way to go. They make a huge difference. I do the deodorant thing to and it's more effective than I would have guessed (sometimes I use something like Gold Bond, but that's rare.) It's instantly soothing.
I use the Venus, but if I weren't allergic to something in the moisturizing strip, I think the Mach 3 is far and away the best razor I've ever used and men's razor or not, it would be my first choice.

Re:Shaving!=(
I use the Gillette Sensor Excel along with Gillette Satin Care shaving gel, which works well for me. Like others have said, deodorant works well to prevent red bumps afterwards, or else you can buy Bikini Zone, which is available at drugstores.
If you get tired of shaving, you could go to a salon and get a Brazilian bikini wax done. I've never had one done myself, but some other girls love it. I heard it hurts like hell the first time you get it done, but you get used to it.

Re:Shaving!=(
I use the Mach 3 razor. I've tried the Venus razors, but it seems with all of that extra crap they put around the razor, it takes away some of it's effectiveness for shaving. I shave my legs, arms, and kitty (I love the feel of completely smooth skin!!). When you are shaving, make sure that you soak in a very warm tub for a few minutes (softens up the hairs a bit), then use conditioner (better than the shaving lotions). Pat the skin dry after you finish your bath/shower...using the deodorant is a good idea, too. I've used bikini zone and it sometimes BURNS LIKE HELL. Also, make sure that you shave in the direction of hair growth...

So how long do you ladies let the hair on your kitty grow out b4 you shave again? In your opinion do customers ever complain about stubtle? lol

Re:Shaving!=(
you could always have laser done. it's not cheap, but in my opinion, definitely worth it! the laser my doctor uses can even be used on tanned skin safely. you can shave right after treatment, and the hairs all fall out within 7-10 days. you need multiple treatments, but even still....your hair doesn't start to regrow for over 6 weeks! and ultimately you'll be hair-free.
no more razor burn ever! and your skin is sooooo smooth. i don't think you could ever get this smooth shaving. and waxing can cause a host of other problems...ingrowns, necessary regrowth, etc.

Re:Shaving!=(
Lots of quality lotion and the kind that slows hair growth, i think by neutrogena. I lotion up all the time!!!
You MUST exfoliate. Scrub a lot and you will not get those damn ingrown hair or razor bumps.
You have got to be kidding me with those one dollar razors!!!
Try venus or another expensive kind and decent shaving cream and you will have no more questions.
P.S. waxing hurts like a bitch!!!!!

Re:Shaving!=(
If you're getting razor burn you are doing something wrong:
1. The razor is kind of dull...use a fresh razor, if not every time, at least every other time.
2. You are dry shaving (you need something on your body when you shave...not just water). Try a conditioner or shaving cream.
3. You are presssing too hard on the razor. If you are using a disposable, then opt to spend little bit more and get a non-disposable (the actual razors are better quality). Or, if you have a single/double blade, try getting a razor that has 3 or more blades on it. Closer shave with less pressure.
Hope that helps!!

Re:Shaving!=(
I use Dr. Bronners liquid soap and it is seriously the best thing I have ever used to shave with. And I use a Mach 3; the Venus costs more for the exact same thing!!
I shave before every shift, whether it seems like I need it or not. Better safe than sorry!
