Dancing
I went to a club the other night for the first time in my life and noticed that all of the girls seemed to move very slowly, used slower songs, etc. I love dancing and crazily enough I've tried in the crazy high shoes and they don't seem to get in the way... I'm used to high heels. Anyway, my question is: I'm a really "high energy" dancer, people always tell me I "dance sexy" in regular clubs, but I don't do the whole very slow thing, when I tried the other night I felt kinda dumb. Should I just do what comes naturally and see if it works otu or is it a bad idea to deviate from the slower, less "dance-like", more walking around and striking poses sort of style? Sorry that this is worded so poorly, I'm having a hard time explaining the problem exactly! Thanks to everyone for all of your support through this whole getting started phase!

Re:Dancing
Most customers seem to think that slow=sexy. Last year I remember seeing a couple of new girls. They were definitely "high energy" dancers and were very talented, dance-wise. They danced so hard on stage that when they finished rotating through the stages they were covered in sweat and their hair was wet with sweat. While they both got quite a few dollar tips while on stage, they both quit after a couple of weeks because they couldn't make enough money. The reason you saw all the girls dancing slow is because that is what works.

Re:Dancing
I think doing what works for you is best. The club I work at has a variety of different dancer each with their own dance style that works for them. Some are fast and loud other slow and super sexy IMHO.. Some use the pole and others WORK the pole. Dancing is a way of expressing your individuality. Note I do a bit of both and have found that slower is working a lot better in terms of muscle soreness and energy.

Re:Dancing
I mix it up with a couple of fast moves every once in a while, but for energy reasons you MUST dance slowly. Being a dancer is like one eight hour work out season. The more fit you are the more money you make. If you tire yourself out or move to fast you risk injury and by the end of the night you will look exhausted, pale, bruised up, and you'll be too sore to walk the next day. Plus you won't have even made that much money.
If you ever try dancing you will see that slow does equal sexy. Fast equals accident.

Re:Dancing
Hey Tiffy, I have the same problem! I've been dancing for 2 weeks but I have to say that these girls r basically right. I slowed down a little bit but I couldn't help but going somewhat fast, the firls that danced slower made more money. There are only two girls that dance fast at our club that make alot, but they dont actually dance, they twirl really fast and kinda sling thyre bodies around loosly...
Ok now that we have established that slow is better, any tips on slowing down? When I try to grind slow it makes me soooo tired cause it takes a lot of muscle control. And I just end up touching all over my boobs and rolling my body bakwards cause its the only slow move i know how to do..any advice?
PS good luck tiffy

Re:Dancing
Thank you all! I can see why slower would be better after reading your comments... I guess I'll be working on learning to dance more slowly in front of the mirror to prepare for amateur stuff next week! I never really thought about it, but I guess I would get all sweaty and icky dancing quickly most of the night~ what a turn on ;)! Thanks again!
