A very new newbie
Hello,
I guess this one is adressed to those in the U.K. but any help would be...well...helpful. ::)
I am considering dancing to make some extra money (alas I am a poor student), but I have never even been inside a strip club. I am interested because I have heard you can make decent money (and I am a lousy waitress).
I have a lot of questions about what it is like working in the U.K., but my main questions are.
1. How do you get started finding places to work? (I am in the Nottingham area)
2. I am a black sister, is it any different for me finding work then for our equally as sexy white sisters? (sorry if this is a sensitive question for some, don't mean to offend)
I hope someone can help me because I have no clue where to begin (probably obvious from my post :-\)

Hi nyna. I am a black dancer and have worked in the UK and I have never been turned down at a club. Finding work should be no problem, clubs like a lot of variety. You just have to make sure that you look after your appearance and that your attitude is enthusiastic and confident.
Naomi's advice about checking out clubs is good. Go to a few clubs (with a friend if you want) and watch the dancers. It'll give you an idea if it's what you want. You can always call management and ask them questions or even just pop in for an audition. Try and smile and make tons of eye contact. Guys love attention!
There are clubs listed on www.stripclublist.com. Just go to europe>england and there you will find some clubs in your area.
Good luck girly! x
