hey ladies
geez wow....that happened once in my club some guy pulled a gun on a dancer needless to say it created a lot of panic....people think they are so yough with them. she stayed calm as our security saw this on camera he came out the back with a bat ( he is a big huge russian guy) the guy saw that this was getting serious and bolted out the door.......never saw him again...but still it makes all of us think about the potential danger in and around our line of work....
be safe ladies much love from the bay area

In the case of a simple physical altercation, the deployment of a firearm,by security or anyone else,is brandishment, and assault. The bouncer is guilty of a felony. Even sworn LE officers are required to adhere to a force progression protocall. unholstering your sidearm is NOT the first step. Blade brought up the question of weapon retention, and it is a far bigger issue than most of you may be aware of.My own views on firearms aside, i can assure you that for safety and liability reasons, the club owner better make damn sure he dosent just "let the bouncers carry guns" In PA,they had damn well better be certified by the state under both acts 180 and 203. In short, that would mean they are pretty much cops. Secondly,if you ever pull out a gun in a barfight, you better use it well and quickly, for there are many of us who are ready willing and able to liberate you of it and stick it up yer ass. If you work in a place where the bouncers pull out a gun for a barfight, then the most unstable and dangerous person in the club is the bouncer, not the sorry drunk brawling customers. I have 3 very nice nasty GSW scars on my rt arm from breaking up a bar fight over a pool game. I also still have the guys gun. He left by ambulance. Not shot, cause I'm such a nice guy...but very badly injured by 2 irate and 1 bleeding and VERY irate bouncer. Guns and bars are bad business.
You said it Melonie. I am soooo glad Bridgette is fine. We have a few security officers who carry guns in the clubs, and i don't like it, because they show off. Learn how to tackle a person for petes sake instead of hiring on big fat bouncers and such.Quote:

We all react different. Bridgette took her customer, how nice!!!!! That mean old lady is worried about men back there when God knows what could happen next? Clearly the old women was not thinking.......Shit.

Damn right! If I pull my gun, it's going to be because I fear for my life or the life of a loved one and I'm not only going to shoot you, I'm going to try and kill your ass because your trying to kill me!!Quote:

Oh my Bridgette, I can imagine how you felt! I would've had a heart attack, lol. Good thing you're safe, got lots of dances, & no one got hurt. Pheeew!
That reminds me, I remember asking about tight security in SC on here before. I've thought of crazy things like this happening at a SC too. Good thing he was just a guard. :O
Absolutely correct! While I'm sure there are exceptions and I don't mean to offend anyone who works security, it requires a hell of a lot of training and repetitive full-speed practice, beginning with unloaded weapons, then CO2 BB guns, and finally fully-loaded weapons in "live fire" run throughs to become proficient in "room-clearing" - the kind of training and practice that few employed in security have actually had. So in addition to the very real possibility of Blade's "worst case scenario" eventually happening at some point along the way, there's also the highly likely probability of the kind of "lesser case scenario" represented by the danger evident in having someone unskilled in the use of a weapon in an enclosed, crowded and dimly lit space deciding to fire the weapon happening on a far more frequent basis - with all too predictable results.:(Quote:
