Help for a new male dancer!!!!
I need some advice from some of the girls, or guys, for my first bachelorette party. My girlfriend is a dancer, and is giving me a lot of help. But neither of us really know what guy dancers do for a bachelorette party. A friend from work asked me to do it for her friend's party this Sunday and I'm not very prepared. Their not expecting anything too professional, but I don't want to look bad. Does anyone have any good ideas to fill up an hour or two without much risk of me looking like I've never done this before?
Re:Help for a new male dancer!!!!
if you want me to put you in contact with a close friend of mine that is a male dancer in california and tours across country, i am sure he would be able to help.
write me at [email protected] if you would like me to get you in touch with him.

An hour or two? Man, you must be SuperMan!
I am not sure what the aveage run time for a bachelorette party is in the U.S. but I think 30 minutes is tonnes!
My shows go for 20 minutes, first 10 is the striptease part, then the last 10 (in a thong) is games with the bride to be (you can purchase games in party shops etc.)
Just appear confident and that you know what you are doing and you will pull it off. Good luck man!
Re:Help for a new male dancer!!!!
In my business, I work with alot of male "private party" dancers and in most cases, ofcourse, the Bachelorette gets the first private dance in the center of the room. One full song. After that, most of the women will come up for private dances or he works his way around the room for tips. Many times they use props (whipped cream, massage oil...) and often times the women will take "body shots" from his g-string. I think as long as you stay moving and keep the women happy by not picking out the prettiest females, you should not have a problem filling an hour. Go with the women and the mood, chance are they will have some ideas of there own on what they want to do with you! Good luck and have fun!!!
Re:Help for a new male dancer!!!!
Oh yes...and one more VERY VERY important thing to remember....BRING YOUR OWN MUSIC!! LOL.....
I have been to house parties and the guys always seem to forget to bring thier own music! This really puts the party hostess in a bind, especially if she doesnt have music you are a custom to dancing to.
Be energetic and sexy but not overly aggressive. Try to keep the danicng to one room in the house. Dont follow women into the kitchen or down the hall. Chances are, you are probably the first male dancer they have seen before and are extremely embarrassed. (or so this is what I have seen).
It is also a good idea to have a variety of songs both slow and fast. Although the women can be agressive, if you are there for an hour, they will get tired quickly so it is always a good idea to have a couple slow songs to dance to during a "cooling off" period. This will keep the tips coming and allow you time for intimate lap dances.
Although I am not a dancer, I have seen many, many male dancers at house parties and I have learned a few things about what women react to most.
If you are looking more tips after dances, you can offer a variety of things for the women to do with you.
Such as licking whipped cream off your ass or chest (where ever you feel comfortable)
A massage oil rub down (she massages you)
Body shots from your g-string
You can also surf the net for Bachlorette party games and have a few suggestions the night of the party.
Bring a clean hand towel to wipe away sweat and a large bottle of water.....you'll need it!
Oh yeah and if you do not have a bouncer/friend going with you, it may be a good idea to bring a small bag for tips. If the party is big enough, you will have ALOT of tips and generally at house parties, you are moving around up and down from chairs and other furniture and also rubbing and grinding with the women and many times tips end up all over the place. Keep track of the tips filling up in your g-string and have someplace you can stash any overflow.
Good Luck!

Re:Help for a new male dancer!!!!
Make sure you have the basics first...
Ex:
1. Costume and Theme
The costume will determine your music, songs and theme intro. It will also dictate what you've got to take off during the course of the strip down...
***Note*** The easiest costume would be what I call GQ. You could do some black slacks, black blazer, black boots, black tank-top, and some locs(sunglasses)...
2. Thong & Maybe brief shorts if you're NOT fully comfortable in a thong...
3. Velcro Pants
4.Radio
5.Strobe light
6. Polaroid Camera
This is just a brief rundown of what you'll need...
If you want more details you can send me an email at:
[email protected]
Hope to hear from ya, but if not then good-luck!
Re:Help for a new male dancer!!!!
a cop or a fireman always is a winner with me and the officer and the gentleman skit............but 1-2 hrs is a long time.............i thought it was like 20-30 or 45 minutes for a party.
Re:Help for a new male dancer!!!!
if you do have to stay 1-2 hrs i would do your act in 30 inutes then afterwards(taking as long as possible to come back out)
take pictures using a polarod camera for the remaining time and hang out a little to use the time up
