Question - Amateur Contests - Memphis?
Hey! I hope this is the right forum for this question. I've never danced (on stage). I want to, and I know of a couple of amateur contests in town (Memphis) that sound OK. Does anyone know about them? They are at Platinum Plus and PT's. I love to go watch professionals dance, and I practice at home, but.... just haven't managed to try it yet. I was thinking an amateur contest might be the ticket.
Re:Question - Amateur Contests - Memphis?
I always heard that PP in Memphis was a high-mileage club. Don't know if that is a fact or not. You might want to talk to some of the girls there.
(I have friends from TN and SC that told me that.)
Good Luck,
Synnove
Re:Question - Amateur Contests - Memphis?
Excuse me if I seem naive (I probably am). What does "high-mileage" mean? ;)
Re:Question - Amateur Contests - Memphis?
Mileage - Used to measure the "interactivity" of a dance. This varies for everyone, but in general: Low/No-mileage = Air Dance, High-mileage = Grinding and Extras.
Re:Question - Amateur Contests - Memphis?
Thanks! Do you think that applies to "amateur contests"? I want to win, but want to know what I have to do to actually win....
Re:Question - Amateur Contests - Memphis?
I really don't know hon. I wish I could help you on that. And I don't know whether PP is truly like that or not, it's just what I heard from a couple of friends. I really don't know about amatuer nights, none of the clubs around here does them. (@ least to my knowledge) You might want to talk to some people in your area that may know more about the club in particular?
Re:Question - Amateur Contests - Memphis?
I have been a customer at Platinum Plus. I saw an amateur contest and it involved no interaction with customers. The dancers who work there, however, do provide high mileage dances. There's lots of mutual touching. The customer keeps his pants on, and the dancer keeps her G-string on, but other than that just about anything goes. I doubt that "extras" are common; the room where lap dances are done is large and shared by dozens of dancers and customers at once.
