Magazine submissions?
Hi! Sorry if this is a repeat. Hope it's not. Anyway, the original plan was to start dancing, but I just couldn't figure out how to balance it with the rest of my suburban housewife/mommy life. Congrats to all you ladies who can. Anyway, my hubby suggested that I start submitting pictures in porno mags instead of dancing. He thought that might help my body image (read my 'measurements' posts in 'body business') without all the pressure of dancing or having to worry about a bad night. Well, I gotta say, we bought some magazines and a bunch of the amateur ones offer $250 or so just for printing a picture that you send them. Has anyone tried this before? Because I'm thinking 'cash for getting naked on camera? Bring it on!' LOL, I love doing it anyway. :D I just wondered if anybody had any experience in this department. I don't want to model, per se, just send in pics and if they like them, then I'd go in for a photo shoot, or maybe just send them my pictures., I don't know. I'm thinking stuff like Gallery and Hometown Girls and stuff like that. And, hey, Playboy is my dream (I am much too homely, of course, but maybe someday they'll want ugly girls :P) - Has anyone done anything for PB special editions or anything like that? THANKS!

Re:Magazine submissions?
the only thing about modeling instead of dancing is that there is evidence. I modeled online and now there are some people that (after a lecture) wont talk to me anymore. :( but screw them if they cant accept what they dont find normal. playboy will only take models who havent been in other mags, and they can take 6 months or so to respond. and if you really want to be in playboy waiting the 6 months might be worth it, they can do some wonderful things with makeup and photoshop. if you really want to be in mags there are a lot out there that will take send ins and things. perfect 10 is good if you have real breasts.... you can do a search on here for magazine, playboy, modeling... etc.....

Re:Magazine submissions?
Just remember once you sell those pictures they belong to whom ever bought the. They can end up somewhere you don't want them. I know of a dancer in Vegas who had pictures published in Gallery I believe. A few months later they were on the web-site for Sheri's Ranch Brothel, a brothel just outside Vegas. She was very upset, people were asking when she started working out there. I think it even caused a bit of a tiff where she was dancing.
