PP....don't take this the wrong way please....this was meant for fun--stop telling us how inaccurate the test is... all the IQ percentages (which aren't all correct thank you very much), and all that other stuff. I know, you're trying to help, but most of us don't take these things so seriously.
And some were. I wasn't posting for you but them. I took it as understandable that those that score less than 115 might not be posting due to embarrassment over their low scores.

It's a real buzzkill, ya know.
Sorry for wanting people not to feel bad about scoring average or below that or being apprehensive in taking the test. I now know your enjoyment is more important than their self-esteem issues. My mistake. I'll try to not do that again.

I'm sure this thing scores everyone in basically the same range--let people believe it if they want.
Ah, I see. If someone presents their product as accurate and says so on their website, it is best that if you know it isn't true that you keep your mouth shut and let people believe in falsehoods. Check.

It certainly doesn't hurt anyone to think their smart!
How about the one that scored 80? I guess it doesn't hurt him to think that he's dumb.

And anyone who thinks that they are smarter (or knows they are smarter) knows not to put much stock into ONLINE IQ tests.
Ah, only post for the informed. Gotta ya.

Also, I'd like to add that groups like Mensa (which I'm currently looking into joining) are no more elitist than your posts (sorry, but when you spout off that much information as if other people are completely ignorant about it, it comes off as being snobby to some people, whether you mean it that way or not).
My mistake. I didn't realize everyone had an degree in psychology and taken a number of courses in psychological measurements. Though it is a bit odd. I wonder why some were asking me questions then. Oh, I know. It must have been my elitist snobbish self that thought those were questions. How foolish of me.

Mensa, like any other group (even SW), is about people with common interests, etc, coming together to socialize. What the heck is wrong with that?!
And your common interest is what? That you're smart? Ok, you're smart. What are you going to talk about now? Smart stuff?
My best friend did qualify for and join Mensa. After joining it, he realized he had nothing in common with them ... other than scoring well on a test ... and quit.
Mensa isn't an activity group, but a qualifier group. Either you qualify or you don't. That's pretty much the definition of an elitist group.

Can we get back to having FUN now?
Agreed. Let's all not inform each other of falsehoods and errors. It is better that way. Ignorance is bliss.
