Man loses shirt in topless bar

This is TOTALLY not the first time some shmuck has tried pulling this stunt! I know it wasn't too long ago that some other guy tried refuting a 5 digit strip club bill and news made it on here. Why would the club overcharge like that? Scores is huge, it doens't need this schmoe's extra dough! Pah-leez! He just was too drunk to remember a thing or he remembers it all just fine and had "buyers remorse" the next day--happens all too often. Jerk.
Friggin idiot. Funny though. Not the first time someone has cried about spending too much money though.
It happens all the time. In Vegas, this type of story happens so often in the casinos it just doesn't make the news anymore. I've heard of this happening in the gentlemen's clubs all the time too though. Some dumb jerk blows a ton of money on wine, women, and song and then the next morning wakes up and realizes he has to explain it all to the wife back home, so he conjures up a story about how the "club stole all my money". What's really funny in this story is that I'm sure Scores has all the signatures on credit card receipts on file to show the courts, but that won't satisfy this moron at all. I'm sure clubs pad the bills when they have drunk customers all the time. Padding it for $20 or $40 is easy to be overlooked. In fact, I know a lot of dancers that will often not do as many dances as paid for in a VIP room or something similar as well. It doesn't happen often, and it is certainly the minority of dancers, but it does happen. This being said though, being paid to do five dances and only doing four is easy overlooked just as padding an extra $25 on a $500 bill is easy to get overlooked. This guy is claiming he was overcharged $20K. Now, think about this rationally. Do you really think that the staff of Scores would intentially overcharge this guy that much money and didn't think that he would notice? COME ON! If this guy was griping that maybe they even overcharged him $500 or $1000 I could see there being a case on an $8000 bill. But $20,000 over? Give me a break.
LOL nice story.
I love when men experience the "Morning After" of going to a strip club after throwing money around like P-Diddy. Then they regret it.
:loco:
On a somewhat related topic, as a customer I have a hard time deciding whether to go with a credit card or come to a club with a serious wad of cash. The cash can be stolen, can even get you robbed, and perhaps injured in the process, if someone sees that you are carrying a lot (in some places in the world at least). But it is very easy for credit card bills to be padded quite a bit as DW points out, plus they create this bothersome "paper trail" you might have to explain. Sometimes a credit card company will even phone the numbers associated with an account to make sure "everything is OK" if authorization of some unusually large amounts or types of expenses are requested. That can create an awkward situation too.

Having experienced SC's long enough I'm inclined to believe this guy did spend that amount of money and is too embarrassed to admit it. If he wanted to "party like a rock star" I'm sure there were other clubs, SC's or not, where he could've had a good time without "losing his shirt". ;D. I've ran $500.00 tabs and it was embarrassing BUT I knew I spent it.
Oh, why spend 28 grand if he couldn't touch the merchandise ;D
I've lost a bunch of cash... never my shirt.
Netscape offbeat news had the tab includeing :
4 bottles of 1990Krug Clos du Mesnil Champagne @ 3,200 a bottle
$ 7,000 in lap dances
I NEVER take a credit card in a strip club, lesson learned the hard way,but I payed.
The worst I heard was $62,000. on a state creditr card, and that bar was no where near Scores class.
This might also have deeper ramifications. For example, if the publicity from this lawsuit were to by pure coincidence help the political campaign of a certain Manhattan councilwoman, who later winds up weilding heavy influence at city hall, the banker (not really a banker, he's CFO for a huge insurance company) might find himself doing millions of dollars worth of insurance business with the city of New York !
LOL. That happened to one of my friends! Except the card was co-signed by his parents and they absolutely freaked out! Needless to say, his spending privilages were cut down a bit... lolQuote:

Happens all the time. Waitresses are especially the worst about doing it. Many times dancers, including myself, ended up not getting a cent of our money because the club bowed down to the customers.
This is a good part of the reason that charging dances on a credit card are up to 20% higher than paying with cash. The club has to offest potential loss. Risk management 101, even more specialized than acocunting......
I always pay with cash. I was raised, if you cannot pay for it with cash, you don't need it. I admit I use loans to pay for my jeep, but I have the cash in my bank account to pay it off immediately.
(Living off cash does the credit report no good. Such an assinine system.)
