what would you describe extras as?
Ok, i am unsure about this topic. Because in a different post someone said that there were extras provided at a certain club that i have worked at. (which i have never seen)
i just wanted to know what your defination of extras are?
a kiss on the cheek/neck?
blowing in the ear?
grinding?
Because i havent seen anything more then that at all the clubs i have worked at? But im not much of a snoop anyway.
Everyone im sure has their own opinion of what extras are, im just wondering what everyone's perception is?
Re:what would you describe extras as?
Tough question since the answer does seem to vary from person to person!
I'd say a very general definition would be anything that goes against local ordinances or could possibly be defined as 'illegal' in a given region.
In some places, this could be simply any form of dancer -> customer contact. There are many areas that have 4' rules, but they are broken nightly. This could be considered "extras" since contact could legally cause the dancer to be cited and/or the club fined or shut down if ever enforced.
In bigger cities, the term "extras" usually loses it's meaning and becomes a more gentle way to coin prostitution... I know locally, anything is game and not considered "extras"- but if it falls into the realm of a customer obtaining orgasm, it then falls into a fairly well accepted realm of "extras"... even though the normal full 2-way contact lapdances would technically be considered extras by many others.
Hope this helps! It's a pretty grey area to define since it's not exactly a measuring system most people like to talk about or put lines on. And because it can vary so greatly by region and locale, there is no real definitive answer.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
Well... at my club, I don't think there are too many rules regarding what can/can't go down in the lap dance area, but grinding is expected at the very least. I'm comfortable with touching the guy and letting him touch legs, arms, back or waist. I don't consider fondling of breasts or buttocks "extras", although I don't personally allow it, but I think sucking/licking of breasts, touching of vagina, HJ, BJ, or sex is extra. I don't know. That's just my take on it.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
IMHO, "extras" are defined as levels of contact which are beyond those ordinarily available from the majority of dancers in a particular club.
The legal side of the issue gets dicey because in some clubs (say with a 6' ordinance) every single dancer routinely provides private dances which could be considered illegal. In a different jurisdiction, those same private dances would be considered tame.
IMHO outright sex acts i.e. HJ BJ FS must always be considered "extras". This has to be true because there are certain areas (like San Francisco for example) where HJ BJ FS are in fact normally available to club customers from the majority of girls in a given club, which would therefore skirt the general definition.
Breast touching may or may not be considered as an "extra", because different areas have different legal definitions for it, and different clubs may or may not let dancers routinely offer breast touching. The point is that a dancer who chooses to offer an "extra" is significantly extending the boundaries of the available contact levels at her club or other clubs in her general area.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
Pretty much what polecat and Melonie refer to. To me, it's an extra if it's outside club rules or SOP.
If a dancer takes my hands and puts them on her breasts, and that's what everyone else is doing, it's not an extra.
Different club, low-contact dances going on, and my dancer looks around to see if the coast is clear, then takes my hands and puts them on her breasts. Then it's an extra.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
If anyone lays a finger on me that is an extra. i don't let guys touch me in rooms or dances. that's nasty and you don't have to go there to make any money.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
The definition of "extras" in NYC generally means
sexual contact or SEX itself. It ranges from touching
of breasts and derriere through external rubbing of
the genitalia al the way to "full service" i.e. coitus.
At any club it means "beyond the norm"; "more than
usual"; "more than what the other girls are doing".
At GGR there aren't really any extras because the ld
area is open and everyone can pretty much see what
is going on. There's certainly a lot of boob fondling
and ass rubbing but that's pretty much it.
At clubs where the VIP area is more secluded and private things usually get more involved with the right dancer for the right price.
I've said many times that real extras belong OUTSIDE the club. That's why they invented the short stay motel
and the massage parlor.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
Anything that involves contact with the genital region would have to be an extra.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
I would say kissing on the lips, touch breasts or genital areas. maybe even the promise of something outside of work.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
I consider other people who allow or perform the following to be engaged in extras:
Vaginal contact by hand or mouth
Anal contact by hand or mouth
Hand Job
Blow Job
Vaginal or anal sex
For myself I would also include breast contact by hand or mouth as well as french kissing
Re:what would you describe extras as?
:dunce: duh, of course I meant to say any kind of sex is considered as extras IMO. you'll have to excuse me, I'm doped up on paid meds cuz of my teeth.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
If its prohibited by law or by the rules of your club, its an extra.

I agree 100%.

I think that Melonie summed it up beautifully, from my perspective!

Well good for you two. I'm sure you make TONS of money and are very happy with your smug-ass selves >:(
Re:what would you describe extras as?
Katrine- Easy does it. There's no reason to go off on
Catfly and DaphneD because they don't like or permit
contact. IMO that's their RIGHT just as I think another
dancer has the right to permit what she is comfortable
with AND that her club will tolerate AND that won't be likely to get the place busted and hurt everybody else.
In some NYC area clubs, in most of S.Fla. and in S.F. it
is very difficult indeed to make money by just blowing
kisses and shaking your moneymakers. In other parts of the country there is NO CONTACT at all. A lot of it depends on where you work and what the rules are-
the "official" ones AND the "real" ones.
Re:what would you describe extras as?
I'm not condoning "extras" or whatever it is you people think goes on in this industry....
Just goes to show the wide range of women in this sexually oriented industry. No contact dancers are fine by me, I just don't see them making serious money unless they look like Playboy bunnies or have something special for fetishists, like the large breasts or very long hair, etc.......
Re:what would you describe extras as?
An extra is anything that club does not allow to take place for the costomer benefit . If they say no touching and you touch than thats extra and so on if it a topless club and you pull your g to the side than thats extra but that is the small stuff bj's and hand jobs nipples in mouth are extras etc
Re:what would you describe extras as?
I agree with angeleyes. I on the other hand don't mind smashing my boobies into ones face, lol. ;)
Re:what would you describe extras as?
where i work our lap dances are pretty heavy contact . i don't allow them to ''cop a feel'' but we do have to touch. i consider extras to be breast, vaginal, anal touching and bj , hj ,and any other form of sex. i do allow them to touch my back and hips.i think to sum it up its the difference between sexy and sex. is it a tease or is it foreplay?

That's not true Kat. Many of the top income potential clubs are no contact and have plenty of pretty but not Playboy Bunny or fetish dancers working in them. Just look at the Scores or VIP's websites for example. They are all very attractive but not all Playboy level nor are they fetish dancers.
Besides seriously how do you know what the earning potential is? I get the feeling from your posts that you have never spent much time doing no contact work.
Both kinds of dancing have their perks- take it from me , someone who has and does both kinds. So maybe you shouldn't knock something until you've tried it :D
Re:what would you describe extras as?
Umm, that's what a stripper discussion board is about, sharing information. My comment is based on what I have learned. I don't know if I could get hired at a place like Scores anyway, and I'm not going to spend the $$ to go to Manhatten and try just so that I don't have to do contact work....
Yes, I know many girls on SW bank with no contact, but that just isn't the way it works over here.....I've always said I would like to try out a lower contact club sometime soon........
