Finally Auditioning.
After tons of time spent thinking about it (and putting it off and putting it off), I finally have an audition scheduled for Monday night. It's an all-nude gown club (which I didn't know it was all-nude so that's a bit creepy, but I do nude modeling so this dosen't bother me too much...). They didn't tell me to bring a costume, though... just a gown and a song. That's weird. I didn't know that I would be dancing IN the gown, I thought that was for when you were on the floor. So now I have to buy a gown and learn how to dance in it without tripping myself up. I guess I'm noervous, but not. I have some issues about my weight that I'm working through, but otherwise I've got some experience (having worked as a go-go dancer and a nude model) and I think I'll be okay. I just *really* hope I get this job. I really need it.
Anybody who work in a nude or gown club have any random advice for auditions or anything else?

they will probably make you start out dancing in the gown and then take it off as you dance....but the fact that they only asked you to bring one song is a bit strange...

Re:Finally Auditioning.
I read this on the LJ message board: Get a "shorter" gown with slits on both sides "up to there" and that should be fairly easy to move around in. Non-restrictive is the way to go until you get more used to it.
