depends what your personality is like, it's too fake for my taste, but it could really suit you.
To be honest, I cannot see anything good coming out using "Queen" as your stage name.
I too think it is kinda flakly, and the customers might think you are too stuck up, and you might be treated anything less than a "Queen."
Then again.. why not :P
Why not use "Princess" instead? I can think of a few popular dancers by that name?
The Spanish and Latin words for Queen (Reina and Regina, repsectively) would also be pretty-sounding alternatives.
I agree with the rest of the girls...queen sounds very .... stuck on yourself.... but if you have the right personality to pull it off then go for it. I personally prefer simpler names....it helps with the..."what's your real name?"
Yah, I'd also discourage the use of "Queen" as a stage name. People seem to automatically make an association when they hear a stage name, and Queen will instinctually and subconsciously invoke mental imagery of:
1) Freddy Mercury in drag.
2) A really big bed.
3) A snobby, holier-than-thou tyrannical woman.
4) An old, wrinkly but dignified woman.
I'm not sure if any of the above might work for you given your stage set, but most likely not.
Use Queenie instead. Or Reigna. Personally, I like Reigna better. Reigna means Queen in case you didn't know.
Unless you are dom then your name could be Queen Something, like Queen Tasha. (Q-T) for short. get it? cutie?
LOL Princess is cute.. Although, everytime I see that name I think of the dog I had growing up. She did look purty after we got her groomed with the bows in her hair.. lol
I'm not really sure about Queen myself. Like someone else already said, it may give the impression that you're stuck-up.
I'm really not into the "Title" names anyway. I find it hard to call someone by those types of names, if they haven't earned my respect.
Queen may sound like you are better than everyone. There is nothing wrong with that attitude because it is never the less a competion but girls may not like you because of it especially if you are going to a new club and no one knows you. I LOVED bailey78's suggestion! Go for Reina or Regina. I prefer Reina over Regina.... its such an awsome name!!
Hahaha...am I the only one who hears "Queen" and thinks of ugly guys in drag?
yes I meant reina not regina maybe i spelled it wrong.
pronounced RAY-NA
No SCGirl, it does me too! Torment from my years of working with too many of them ;D
Okay but who is dom?Quote:

Thanks everyone. I'll just stick with Sasha. I got the idea of Queen from this film I saw awhile ago..one of the characters in the film had this name..and I thought it was different.
I believe Sapphire is using "dom" meaning dominatrix.
The only dancer name I've ever heard that I found to be a turn-off was that of my ex-wife. Other than that, it really doesn't matter a whole helluva lot.
yes i meant dominatrix.
Men might misconstrue that as "drag" queen. They might think think you're a she-male.
