Re:Personal Disappointment
I know this one guy that ended up hitting a parked car, with my friend in the death seat, while giving a ride to a chick in the backseat who had her a 2 month old baby in her arms. THAT was the height of stupidity, on everyone's part but the kid. Why the hell would a perfectly sober woman take their kid into a car when the driver can barely stand on his own?
How hard can it be to avoid a parked car??

Not hard. But when there are three of them in front of you, it gets more difficult.
Last time I drove drunk was last winter...slipped on a curve....drive into someone's yard to avoid a car....killed the transmission when the wheel hit the curb. Small price...I was lucky...now I walk.
Re:Personal Disappointment
Hey, I was stone cold sober Thursday night coming back from CF, but it's a 2 hour drive to my place from there, and I was dead tired--at least as dangerous as intoxicated driving. Didn't get back until 4AM.

Can anyone tell me what happened last night? no? me neither.... I am extremely disappointed with myself.... I went to CF in Providence last night (big ), however, my 10 miles of walking and 6 miles of running apparently reduced my tolerance to alcohol... I'm a f'ing idiot. I drove back to Boston afterwards, and I'm regretting every second.. Why drive???? damn it. I vow never to drive under the influence again. damn it....
DAMMIT!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr stupid.
I will now wash my hands 312 times.
Well A_G
After you had wild animal monkey sex with a burly bouncer who looked like Janet Reno's brother you went home with a lampshade on your head. How you fit it in the car was amazing. You did back over a herd of baby ducks on the way out of the parking lot, but you missed the nuns escorting the orphans across the street. I did see one of the nuns give you the finger though.
For anyone out there---Other than New Years Eve -- this is the Absolute worst of all weekends to drive anywhere with even a hint of intoxication. The Highway Patrol is just waiting and looking for an excuse to pull folks over, and they are out in force. Do not speed, either!! Wear a seatbelt(in Mass., that is the only law they want to enforce this year). Save your consumption of alcohol for when you are home and all you have to worry about is breaking your nose when you fall down. Smokey is everywhere and wants to put out your campfire!!
PS do not hit me tonight! LOL

Actually, that bouncer was pretty hot. I just kicked him out about 5 minutes ago. As far as the baby ducks go, I just pulled the fourth one out of my muffler. They smell pretty bad at this point, but taste good after about 2 min in the microwave

Another reason why I'm pissed at myself. Not only could I have hurt myself or even worse, someone else, but a) I'm renting a car b) I'm in a state I never been too and c)It's July 4th weekend... stupid+idiotic+moron = estupidio grande puta

Re:Personal Disappointment
Yep AG.. You definitely deserve a good paddling.. LOL
The Staties here LOVE out of towners.. heh..
Everyone just please be very careful this weekend, no matter where you are. Not only for yourselves, but think of all the other crazies on the road.
Re:Personal Disappointment
Yesterday, I think my problem was that I had dinner with the boss and some clients, which involved the consumption of wine, had a beer at a place called "Bean Town Pub" (I've been to Boston three times and have gone to this place each time - I've always met really friendly people at this bar - I highly recommend), and I walked 10-12 miles plus I ran 6 miles that day (16-18 miles = low tolerance). I really don't think I drank anymore than I thought I could handle, but all these factors combined threw off my judgment. Not an excuse - just trying to figure out why last night was different than other nights that I've gone out drinking and DON'T drive.
<------ I'm a Puta

Re:Personal Disappointment
U Boston boyz sound pretty wild...is it true u folks drive 100 on the shoulder? Ahh the drunkalogs I could tell, but u probaly wouldn't believe...one of the reasons I don't indulge (in spirits) the locals around here look to take anyone down who may look like they might spit on the sidewalk.
Re:Personal Disappointment
I totally missed this thread!
Uh, yeah, there are plenty of beds at the DOC (Dept of Corrections) in Rhode Island, if you would have been caught. Free food and everything. Definitely a garden spot.
The best I could promise you is a visit now and again.
Don't learn the hard way like I learned!
>>>Sad<<<
Re:Personal Disappointment

Dammit whirlerz/Sad!! why did you resurrect this?? :banghead:
*delete* *delete* *delete* *delete*
I'll mark last Friday up as a learning experience. No DOC for me
